For some strange reason, I don't feel like I need to vape like I needed to smoke. But like a baby with the pacifier, I like having it handy... just in case.

This is a brand-new industry. The PV's are going to just get better, because that's what happens in a free country, where the best man (PV) wins. Competition rules! I can see it happening already. Before long, we're going to have a PV that houses enough juice for a day or two, and a little button will dispense it into the atty for us, or it'll just do that automatically when it senses the need.

Good luck to you! :)

I remember seeing the pics of the atomizers filled with crud that trog referred to. It would seem that there is some substance that oyu could soak the atty in that would dissolve that material. Even if it was some kind of acid mixture that would remove then gunk and then use another solution to remove the acid.

Understand I would be talking about a process that would take a few days to make sure the atty was thoroughly cleaned and where the cleaning substances have been washed away as well. While it would take a lot longer, it may be worth it??

I think there's been some success with phosphoric acid used for cleaning ice machines. There's a thread about it somewhere.

that wasnt a very used atomizer snarky.. simply a week old one that was still functional..
but the pic has been here before.. but attempting to post valid information in this place is a waste of time.. its gone off the front page before its read..
this place is full of junk posts.. no real problem here except the junk posts totally obliterate the odd useful one.. the place gets worse.. the knowledge base is going backwards.. stuff that was common knowledge a year ago is now all forgotten..
the busier it gets the worse it gets... he he he
dumb and its getting dumber.. he he he.. and sadly there is bugger all to be done about it.. trog
Sorry Trog, I copied only part of your post to save space here :D
Please, don't be so darned judgemental it's not getting dumber and dumber....I can't even find my own posts from just six months ago, when I joined the Forum it had about 5000 members, and about 400 posting. I read and read for weeks to try to gather it all in, but look at now:
Threads: 36,400, Posts: 564,134, Members: 19,543, Active Members: 6,260
People are just overwhelmed with the hugeness of the place, and Threads have been murdered by pickey snarky mean people who like to pick fights that never end with certain people, Thread Broken. Just like I'm doing!!
I always try to put bookmarks into my PC for reference, but when I get back I can't find back where I wanted to put it.
No one would have predicted two years ago this would be what it is today, and no matter how smart we all think we are, we all learned from thousands of other's input here, so have some patience with noobies. That's what our Benefactor would want. Sure there's a place for passing the time of day but it's really for noobies. Who will be running BS Threads of their own when they get expert like us! I guess when it gets overwhelming with stupid we should just move on and let the new kids play on their own. But I hope they're damn careful what they say to be true is true.

a modern day tower of babel.. a million vices all crying to be heard.. each voice has an opinion.. each opinion is of value to those who hold it.. each opinion can be expressed without censure cos the rules say we all have to be nice to each other and we are after all just made up names and avatars..

the end result.. hmmm... dunno but chaos is a word that springs to mind..

this place is now dominated by noobs and semi noobs.. loads and loads of em.. the ones that know a bit have already moved on.. its too frustrating not to.. he he he..

pretty much that needs to be known about e smoking could be said in a few pages.. soooo what purpose does this place serve.. what do all these many many thousands of posts say.. the ability to talk to the world is kind off new perhaps we just have to learn how to do it..

interesting stuff.. i find it fascinating that so much can be said with such a negative end result.. hence my tower of babel reference.. he he he

I have had atty's and bits of that black crud soaking for weeks in every single kind of chemical and acid that I can possibly think of (or at least get my hands on) ......just because I was originally so convinced there must be something can 'dissolve' it.....but I have found nothing at all that has the slightest effect of actually dissolving it. The best anything did was cause some little tiny pieces to break apart!
I have given up with the idea but I would never discourage anyone from experimenting themselves, for all I know some stupid thing could make all the difference. All too often I have just taken someone's word for something only to find out they were wrong.

I don't know about the use of putting so much emphasis on addictions, nicotine, ......, ...., what ever....I'm just pretty darned happy to be resuming a life of energy I can turn into work accomplished, lungs that draw in air now instead of coughing out all the time, looking more like I have skin on my face and shiny growing hair, instead of that gray-looking black circled eyed haggard looking woman in the mirror, just six short months ago. I can walk up to people without checking the windage, because people do withdraw to leeward of a smoker. They don't visit with their kids. They don't like the smell of a tar-saturated house, and scream like crazy if their cars are assaulted with cigarette smoke. I was tired of being judged second-rate for any reason, but for about 4000 reasons right now feel like I can live again, and hold my own in any social setting. Happily. Even if I do have to buy a "new" device and some juice once in awhile, I don't mind. That's cheaper than a funeral. Which hopefully will be a little bit delayed now.
Gosh, I guess that old saying is true. Some people would ..... if they were being hung with a brand new rope, because it's itchy!

I applaud your return to health and a better life for yourself. At the same time, I am saddened that so many worry about the second class citizen status inflicted upon smokers by the anti smoking denormalization campaign. The only way to fight that is to simply not buy into it ourselves.

not to get off topic, but nicotine is in fact more addictive than ....... the perpetuated stereotypical image of the junkie willing to do anything for another hit is just that; an image. the only real tangible difference is that one is legal and more socially accepted while the other isn't.
I'd like to see those facts............I believe smoking may be far more addicting but I can vape 36mg or 0mg all day and care less.

I smoked 2-3 packs a day

I can leave my pv for hours at a time as well. Last week I didn't vape from 8 am to 8 pm 14 just to see and didn't really even care. Telling people they can't give up nicotine is what makes it addictive. It is nothing more that caffeines older brother( no difference)IMO

enjoyable but not addictive

really, really regarding atty's.............why not go to dietsmokes or puresmoker and order 25 atty's for $5 a piece and always run a shiny new rocking atty that blows clouds you can't see through. What is $5 every 2-4 weeks to receive perfect performance with no hassle

with a new atty and a 14500 battery I have to crack the car window to avoid looking like a cheech and chong movie

Pete--I have been starting to read this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...75-cola-method-taken-another-level-works.html Have you tried the ice machine cleaner referred to here? I was about to buy some to give it a try. Are you saying it is a waste of time?

Hi Elendil....Ice machine cleaner was one of the few things I didn't get around to trying so I can't honestly say...... I think I would have to get it from America if I wanted to try it.

The great thing for me is that I am no longer having any problems with my atties since I started doing the daily dry burn, so I am not desperate to find a cleaner any more anyway.
