I sometimes wonder if Liberty Flights sponsors the New Members forum.

Bingo!! I know that what I wanted. When the OP list that as a requirement I usually avoid posting cause it in there head they need for it to look like a cigarette. I guess its only natural. Who wants to step outside with their co-workers for a smoke with this weird device. Well I need to rant and thanks for letting me. I remember my first 510 batt and it was the beginning of my last cigarette I ever smoked so.......then it was the beginning of a declining bank account! lol
I'm a new vaper too, and am pleased and impressed with the veterans for their patience. You guys answer the same questions over and over and over in an effort to help a stranger with a problem. For that you are appreciated more than you'll ever know....
I know I was never this enthusiastic about a box of Nicorettes.
I bought a Woodvil because I wanted to upgrade(i hate that word for some reason) and while researching I realized I liked all the Reonauts. I get a kick out of following the threads in that forum. Everybody is laid back and sociable. Maybe that's why it's becoming difficult for "unsure" to put up with the people who only like forums so they can tell everyone else how smart they are. The Reonauts are real. It's a family on that part of ECF. I haven't seen to many know-it-alls on the Reo forum and I'm on there, keeping up, quite a bit. I don't say much but I'm there, learning.
BTW, I lol at a lotta' "unsure's" posts.

Hey Unsure I wish I could have had your advice when I was on the new members forum but now that I have caught you here could you suggest a mod for me. I do not want something expensive or hard to maintain but one that produces lots of taste and vapor and also let me know some good vendors that sell them and what accessories I need to go with one I have read that the reo mini was a good one to go with but am not sure
Honestly I think when people first want to try vaping, they want something that resembles a cigarette. I did, and most everyone on the newbie threads seem to lean that way too. I think it's a subconscious/comfort thing kicking in, something just like a cigarette. Well, that soon goes away,or it did in my experience. I think this is why most people suggest a ego/riva or something similiar to newbies.
Don't give up unsure...you might help one person to avoid all the cost and hassle of a multitude of devices before they try a mod. And, if you helped one, then it was worth it.
Hugs

When someone asks me to recommend a PV I will give my recommendation and if someone don't like it that's too bad. It's my recommendation. If I said Ego like everyone else does I'd be lying. There are many new threads daily opened by 1st time posters seeking advice on what PV to get. Almost all responses are the the traditional starter kits. Which is great!!! Btw those kits stopped me from my very last cigarette......good right? So I say continue with that advice. All I do is once per thread offer an option of a mod.....NOT A REO or any hi-end box mod...but an inexpensive one. Again just as a option to the 99% egos & rivas being pushed on the new members. My purpose is to try and save some of them money by-passsing all the accessories and upgrades a lot of us have gone thru. Box mods are not for everyone but I dont see the harm in exposing newbies to the possibilities. Evidently my opinions in a sea of many is seen as harmful. I have been commented on and PMed to quit suggesting mods to newbies. Screw them. Im done and tired of being attacked. We all have good intentions to help but I guess Im seen as some evil pusher selling crack to kids. What important is they quit smoking cigarettes which at least is one thing we all agree on. Maybe our new 1st timer REOnouts can make the case better than someone like me with over 3500 posts and sporting a big ol' fat REO signature. lol
Awwwwww....Angler, you are welcome into this family. You fit right in.![]()
I'm also new to vaping. I don't really ask alot of questions because you veterans have answered them so often I just need to do a search. So thank you and please keep giving the kind of advice you do.
I can honestly say that from my first welcome thread, it was suggested I look at the reo mini, (Thanks mlinky, mliky was able to read what I really was looking for and suggested I look at the reo mini) that was the kind of advice I was looking for. Yes I do love my vGo, however, I have found it to be lacking for me during different times. I will be ordering my mini reo on the 5th (IF I am lucky enough to get an email from Rob).
Also I seem to be the odd ball out here, but I didn't want mine to be like or taste like a real smoke. I was looking to cut back, but hoping I would love this enough to drop the real smokes. And in my mind if it didn't look, feel or taste like a smoke my chances of being able to quit improved. I needed this to be so different from smoking that I wouldn't want to go back. And I can say that I haven't.
So thanks again to all those who have tried and succeeded in helping a noob out!
So please keep giving advice, we noobs need it
