Just to nip this line of guessing in the bud, I can't see any way to attach truck balls or trucker girl mudflaps to it, and I'm not going to engrave it in any way, not even with Yosemite Sam or the Tazmanian Devil, or Calvin ...... on a precise plus. It will be tasteful. It will still be shiny. Dspin will probably hate it. I hate jewel encrusted things.

shine it,pack it up good and send it to me as a late birthday gift?

You are too good sir...

You're half right. I've buffed it, broken it down, degreased it and packed it.

I'm going to flip over all the cards. It will go in for a TiAln pvd treatment. When finished, everything except the bottom cap, telescope, connector core, ac ring, brass button, drip tip and top ring will be a deep blue/black. The parts listed above will either be brass or titanium nitride coated.

This is a titanium aluminum nitride coated end mill.

It'll be much more scratch resistant than bare stainles

That is freaking awesome!!! You will have to let me know the price tag on that, and we want pics, a lot of pics.
After you tell me how much it costs, I will decide if I want to know where to send it.:D

Pretty cool idea TG.

It looks similar to the result one gets by having a revolver blued or re blued.

Shiny, deep finish on a bluing, can't tell from the picture posted if there is a shine and the angle doesn't reveal it, or it's more of a matted finish in the picture.

Either way.... nice idea and good luck. Hope everything comes back just the way you envisioned it.

Peace-

Now that you mentioned it. It does remind me of blueing a gun barrel.
