You are NOT alone. The first company I used to order from was good. Then...the next 2 orders all tasted like dish liquid soap.....let them set...aired them out...yech...waste of money. Have been ordering elsewhere since.
I have really great luck with TV and FSUSA and msT

I have to do a little ranting right now. Its not my intent to bash any particular juice or vendor, however, I am chronically broke and always out of juice or almost out of juice, and when I try to get enough money together to make a purchase, I find YET again that I cannot vape the juice I get because i find it nasty, and I mean nasty!
Its one purchase after another from one vendor after another. I swore off a particular company because it was way too expensive and the last order I got was terrible but the weird thing is prior to that order it was my favorite juice, I ordered multiple times. I loved it and it was the first juice I ever vaped. SO... this week I was particularly desperate for some juice (a particular flavor too) and all I could think of as a possible juice that I might end up liking was trying that company one more time as it was the only place that ever even once had the flavor I was after and that I liked....in the past anyway. Well another $40 plus wasted.
Ive tried my share of places and each and every time (besides only 1) the juice is never the same the next time you order it, and thats if you even liked it in the first place. Its not just that it doenst taste the same, that could be a taste bud thing, but it actually tastes like a horrid new recipe or just old juice that was sitting on the shelf awaiting a "sale" in thhe case of this current order and the last one from them that was bad, or watered down in the case of one place, or selling different recipies under the same name with no identification in the case of every place. Its funny when the juice in question wasnt on sale it was great.
And the one that I find decent upon many orders I cannot get because I tried so hard to get the certain flavors I loved so much in the past and now Im broke again.
Vaping in theory doesnt have to be too expensive but it is in the way that your forced to search and sample endlessly.
This is so frustrating, and so expensive, Im so pathetically broke I just want to friggin scream!

I dont mean to conjure a pity party, I just needed to type. Thanks for reading.

I hear you loud and clear. I find most juices from almost every vendor taste like crap to me too..
I DIY now mostly because I can get what I pretty much like.

What flavors are you looking for? Maybe I can help. What Mg also? VG or PG?

If you can't return the "bad" juices to the supplier for a refund or a replacement, I'd try to salvage them by adding flavoring or mixing some of them together. And, if you don't want to go into full scale DIY, I'd buy a basic PG Based juice, I like DeKang 555 and Flue Cured at 24 or 36mg. A 110ml bottle of it runs about $17, and I add Green Apple & Honey flavoring to taste, and I top it off with some VG (about $2.50 for 110ml). I mix it in 3 or 5ml batches until I get the flavor and nic level that I like. I buy my premixed juices from FSUSA (RY4, RY5, and Liquid Amber), when they are on sale, and find them to be very consistent. I've never had a problem with them, but, if I did, I am sure that the owners of FSUSA would stand behind their juices and make it right.

Seems most of the non-prepackaged-from-China juices are blended up in someone's kitchen just like the DIY folks do. And, probably less quality control (aka trying it out before shipping) with higher volume. They'll make a batch by recipe and repeat. If one of the ingredients changes, you the user are probably the first to notice. If you don't follow up with the vendor, you might cheat yourself out of an opportunity to get your favorite back, or at least some tasty discounts or freebies. If you do and it don't work out just move on and pay forward whatever you really don't like. Or maybe try mixing some of those in a cart to see what happens. My luck, I would end up mixing something totally awesome and forget what I used!!

Besides that, taste is so subjective. What appeals to some tastes like crap to others. Not to mention, your own tastes change over time. I've gotten in three orders so far and really haven't found anything I really dislike other than the tobacco flavors. Some I like better than others. I've only been at this for two weeks so I haven't really settled on just one specific mix or flavor. Hopefully I won't.

I've also had mixed success on orders from 2 very highly rated US vendors, in my case though i've been lucky enough to have ordered a small bottle of a sweeter tasting liquid each time and i've been adding that to the one's that don't taste right, say for example I was dissapointed in a cinnamon bun type liquid, i've been adding a drop of blue waffle to it and it's been alright, because the blue waffle on it's own is waaaay to buttery to vape.

I've also got a cherry cola and an orange flavored e-liquid I just havn't touched since getting them because they're way too strong and make me feel sick to be honest, hoping that in a months time they've mellowed a little because I hate wasting anything.

As for the money aspect it's deffianately very easy to end up blowing more money on this stuff than you did smoking analogues. I'm going to just restrict myself to 1 order at the start of each month of about $30-40. Now I also know which flavors and nicotine levels I like and that I need to cut down on PG because it causes chest tightness for me.

I hope you find your feet zelphie and actually start saving money along side your lungs.

I was experiencing chest tightness too. I started to NOT inhale deply and it helped alot. Since I am advised that the nic is absorbed through the tissue in the mouth and throat I take a nice big drag then hold momentarily. Then I let it out slowly after a light inhale, sometimes not. Sometimes through the nose, others the mouth.
I find it makes me vape alittle slower so even if I chain vape, I'm using a little less, and I get the satisfaction of seeing more vapor on my exhales.

I'm not really seeing any savings right now, spending more each week than I did on smokes, the bane of being a light smoker, lol.
I had some PIF me and that really helped, thats why I try to help others out whenever I got something to spare. I'll be glad when I can go a whole month without spending, half of it is self discipline though.

I strayed from my favorite baker when I realized I could get more quantity for the dollars spent. Like you I was impressed with some 1st arrivals but subsequent orders just ...... me off. My sister in law is a vaper too, so a few weeks later I handed her down the offending flavors---one tasted like cologne, another was bland and the 3rd had a wretched chemical aroma and tasted no better. If she disliked them, we agreed to dump them in toilet and recycle the bottles. We trade juices all the time & spare empty bottles are great for sharing.
Any-hoo, a few days later she told me that I was absolutely nutz, 2 of the 3 were yummy and the 3rd was not quite so yummy but it was a keeper. We got together a later in the week and I re-tasted them. Yep... they were good. I think time has a bunch to with it. They needed to 'season' so to speak.
Yet one of my favorite 30cc suppliers, prints that the flavors perish or diminish over time. So who knows.

I feel ya. I've been happy with most of what I've tried so far, but what is an issue for me is the pain I experience when I inhale, which is just as off-putting as yucky flavor. I think it has to do with the nic level, I was vaping 6 mg and then I ordered 11 mg because I wasn't quite satisfied with 6 and also started using the 510 at the same time. I enjoy the flavors but the TH and lung sensation isn't anywhere near enjoyable, no matter what method I use to vape (taking into mouth then inhaling or straight inhale, both have the same effect). Smoking was never this painful. I don't think it's a VG/PG issue as some are 100% VG and some are a mix and same results both times. I'm also not tasting the flavors as well on the 510 which is disappointing, but certainly get way more vapor than I did on my old e-cig. Maybe a drip tip is in order.

Not quite ready to DIY but will probably get to that point eventually, I still have a few bucks to spend on juice. I'm also pretty sure it's just me as hubby is vaping the same juice and has no issues, in fact he loves it. If anyone is going to break the bank it'll be him with RY4 lol.

Yeah, finding really yummy, consistant juice can be a challenge. I would suggest you email the vendors prior to ordering, and explaining what you are looking for and ask for their suggestions. Most are very very helpful! Also try the PIF swap thread, it makes it super easy to trade off juice you don't like for juice you might! There are also many very kind, generous people there that would be happy to help. Hang in there and don't give up! Your holy grail of juice is out there somewhere!

Hi Zel,

What I do is purchase unflavored nic in a base of Pg or VG and/or mix and get doublers from tastyvapor and create my own.

I find it is a ton cheaper and better in almost all cases with the exception of a few mistakes here and there.

You can get doublers in 2 and 4oz sizes and they will mix them to your liking.

Just add mix to your unflavored and you are set to go. Once you find the right flavor you will be vaping for pennies instead of dollars.

PM me your mailing details and I will send you some mix and some unflavored pg/vg mix to try..

You can also buy flavorings but TV does it so cheap that I find it cheaper to just let them mix it.. :)
