I have smoked for about 23 years, heavy smoker.
I have tried to give up in the past, using different ways, and the longest i gave up for was a few years ago for about 4-5 months.
Ive used e cigs, patches, cold turkey etc etc
and to be honest ive found getting over the physical addiction to nicotine is quite easy, its the physiological addiction thats hard to get over.
The habit of having a cigarette in the morning, after coffee, after food, with friends, with drinks, all are hard moments to resist smoking.
Now i have tried e cigs before, and didn't do very well with them, i was using the traditional cigarette looking version, cartomisers i think they are called.
I was always frustrated with inconsistent vapor, lack of throat hit, and smoking in that way was costing me almost as much as traditional cigarettes.
Now a few years later, these last few weeks ive been looking at this technology again, i have purchased an itaste 134 and an itaste vv/vw v3.0 obviously im going to use the 134 at home being the beast it is.
And now im buying e liquid it works out a lot cheaper that cigarettes.
So yeah i thought id join this forum, and say hello!
i just want to point out, i havent actually stopped smoking yet, ive only just recieved these products in the post, and have been researching them for the last week, which is what brought me here.
Any advice for someone in my situation is warmly received

No I look for the people who want to quit and are having trouble. I smoked for 35 yrs 2.5 pad. I had tried everything like you,and was ready to give up. April will be 3 years, since I have had a .... Vaping DOES work. I started with the Blu and that was so frustrating,I was ready to go back to smoking, even though they did get me off smoking.(poor batt life and$$) I went to the Ego and this worked, great Batt life and was able to use tanks with cartomizers,so I was set for hours. I wanted more heavier throat hits. I got a Vamo. The Vamo was great, but I switch tanks(for different flavors) all day long. The threads wore out quickly. I'm retired,so not a lot of money, but I bought a Provari, have had it for 9 months and not a single glitch. I have 5 carto tanks and 3 Vivi Novas. I like both styles, but prefer my Carto-tanks. I went from buying juices,to making my own. They are every bit as good as what I paid 6.99 for a 10ml bottle. It cost me.86 cents to make a 10ml bottle. I spent 250.00 a month on fags,3 yrs ago. I now spend about 40.00 a month on vape supplies and there are months that I buy nothing. Like now I have enough juice and cartos and do not need to buy anything, till March. I now go to the gym 5 days a week and swim. My oral hygiene is fantastic. My smell(this can have negative effects)taste, stamina, everything improved 100%. I knew the cigs were going to kill me. A friend, also 51 has stage 4 COPD. You can do this trust me. Surf this forum, ask questions,if what your using does not work, try something new. A lot of good people and helpful info on here. Seek out a guy on here "Baditude",he has some blogs and is very knowledgeable and will not steer you wrong. I'm 3 yrs in and consider myself a noobie, not a lot of experience, but I have quit what I knew was killing me. There is that "Happy spot" and you will find it. Best wishes and Cheers
