I'm having issues with certain Backwoods Brew juices and MF cartos!

Are these "small" e-juice makers even certified in some way?
I mean, do the "developers" of new e-juices have any technical/medical skills to determine, for example, if the flavor components used can withstand high temperatures?

I tried her sampler of Happy Rancher, Eternal Holiday and Peach Sweet Tea. I liked all three but the Eternal Holiday was too spicy and though I loved the flavor I couldn't vape more than a few puffs. I did order a 30mL bottle of her Happy Rancher and a 15mL of Voodoo Lady (a blend of Eternal Holiday with a tobacco base which softened the spice enough for me to really enjoy it). I love both and vape them daily. The Peach Sweet Tea was good but I liked BWB's Peach more and decided that having one Peach was sufficient for my needs.

As for ordering from a small company versus a big one, I have little concern for the most part. I mean the only perfumey, unvapable juices I have ever had came from one of the big boys. The best juices I have ever tasted came from BWB (a one man show), KBV (a family affair), Southern Ambrosia (a girl with a dream), and NicVapes (one geek walking - if you like Jr. Mints or just chocolate mint in general his Jr. Mints Daddy is an amazing duplication of flavor experience).

Besides, which companies qualify as a big boy on the block? Does Halo? Does FSUSA? When I hear either of those companies mentioned, I see a single person's name associated with each one (two names but one name per company). From what little I have seen I would think we would all have to order from China if we really want to get manufactured juices created and mixed in a controlled, sterile environment. And I am just not willing to do that.

If you think about it, some of the largest companies in the world with regular inspections from the FDA, with a thousand processes to control manufacturing still have recalls due to contaminants or other health risks. So, are they really any safer? Big companies also have a history of adding stuff to food products and tobacco products or using inferior or less healthy options to save money.

I want crafted, artisan quality juices. And I have only found that from the little guys.

In short, I look at it this way. I trust the local, small town, non-chain Mexican restaurant to provide higher quality meat than Taco Bell (<-- 36% Beef). I do not equate big company with quality or safety. At the same time I don't mean to imply that big company equals corruption, poor quality and shoddy workmanship.

I love KBV's stuff. I have tried four so far and like every one ALOT. I also loved four of the five I ordered from Alien Visions. The "little guys" simply have the best flavors IMO. I am going to try the bloog prefilleds sometime soon. Just love my juices too much to make it a priority I guess.

Ive had excellent results from all of Vixen Vapors juices. All are made to order. you can customize the pg/vg, nicotine level, flavor level etc. Cheap too. They have an awesome sale going on right now.

I have bought a great many juices from a great many vendors, most of them "boutique" juices from the "little guys", and also all the major USA vendors, and I like nothing as well as Bloog's 555 and RY4. I like the other stuff, but I can't find one good all-day vape that I don't get sick of. I can always vape Bloog's juice.

Thanks Gardner, you make some good points. Voodoo Lady sounds interesting. Eternal Holiday is an unfortunate name, it sounds like a euphemism for death... like we'll miss old Joe, he's taking an eternal holiday at that big resort in the sky.

I thought the same thing. Funeral parlors even use 'Eternal Holiday' in their literature.

I got some Boba's bounty from alien visions thinking it would be a drip only juice. This stuff is really thick! On a whim I decided to put some in a bloog carto and to my surprise, it vaped just fine. Great in fact. But for some reason, the Vaperite VR4 doesn't work in these cartos. That's a real bummer because it's one of my favorite juices.
