I'm new, went with Blu

I've had plenty of problems getting used to my electronic cigarette, but, I'm currently on day 7 with no tobacco cigarettes and I was a heavy smoker for 35 years! So I would say that overall I am pleased with my choice of blu, as this is a major achievement for me.

I hope to find answers to my questions on this forum, and support when I'm frustrated by the technology. My main concern of the moment is getting brave enough to try filling an empty cartridge. I've bought some juice, but I'm afraid to use it! (How much of a weenie am I?!?!)

Also, I only have empty blu cartridges, so I need to find some caps for them.

The posts for newbies are very informative. Great site!

I have not owned a blu so I can't help you there. But anyway, welcome aboard you are a stranger here but once. If you need help we will have your back, if you need to vent, this is the place to do it. You can get crabby and snippy, it's OK we get it, getting off of smokes is one of the hardest things to do.

Good luck, have fun and ask all the question you want.

I just started refilling carts for blu too. I fill 4 up and put in the pack holder, straight up and keep the box upright, no spills yet. i made five more and put in the tiny box, again straight up. lol. no spills and i'm set for the day. 510 carts came with caps which is nice and with one or the other i should only have to do this every couple of days.
Good luck and

Doubt it, the chargers work for both blu and 510 batts, u can use the 510 cart with atty into the blu battery to vape auto instead of manual. which is cool. good TH and the vapor is actually better than blu so atty makes a diff too, not just the liquid.
510 carts do not fit on Blu atty. I feel like a kid with a new toy. lol

510 carts don't fit on the Blu, but a 510 cartomizer does. I tried a 510 cartomizer on the Blu I have and it worked nicely.

Here is a link to the cartos that I have:

Thanks for all the info, everyone. When you fill the Blu carts do you push the part with the filler up to the top? I saw a video which showed dripping the fluid down a toothpick into the cart and wondered if you could use this method without pushing that bit up or not?

I don't know why I'm so timid about trying filling them! I can't get myself to do the first try...grrr!

I have used 510 cartos on my Blu with success, but more than a few hits and it tastes electrical and weird. I have only done that a few times.

I would drip onto my stock blu and take it out, like to the bar, but I have stopped. It's been about a month and my blu batteries and atties are just kind of "lacking." It may be a decrease in performance or an increase in standards.

I'm glad to hear your success with Blu, they make a sexy cig. But you should prepare yourself for wanting something more. I got myself a 510 usb passthrough w/cartos and as soon as I can I'm going 510 megabatts.

My blu doesn't produce enough vapor or nic hit for me to 'advertise' with it in public. The technology is far better served with other models IMO.

I just mention the Blu primary cause i've seen them take such abuse and they really aren't as bad as put out on. I am honest with it tho. I like blu for the package/price, which is why i got it. only took 5 days to get it. it gives a good TH for only 4-5 drags then you need to wait for re-saturate, not much vapor at all. but i like these features for vaping in stealth mode. They wont let me vape when playing poker, well i can cup in hand, drag, and exhale in napkin or shoulder and no one has ever noticed yet. it is great for that quick needed nic fix in hiding.
the 510 is definately capable of being like a full cig, good consistant TH, alot more vapor to represent smoking. can not stealth vape with 510 due to size and vapor.
but overall each person is diff and has diff needs and opinions. this combo serves me greatly and when i see contradicting opinions or slamming of either product, i just like to throw my two cents in. I am very glad i have both and that both have same threading so i can use blu batt for auto dragging, and i can use all charging units for both sets of batteries.
again, just my penny thoughts and opinion.
Most important thing is we are all vapors instead of smokers and bottom line thats a good thing with what ever anyone uses.

The charger do NOT work for both Blu and 510. The polarity is reversed. Very quick way to kill both the charger and the battery. On the plus side, you usually only lose one pair learning that.

Now back to the original question. The way I fill is to take the inner cartridge out, take the filler out of the inner cart (I use a T-pin), fill the empty cart about 3/4 full of juice, put the filler back in, and if necessary, put a drop on top of the filler so it looks a little slushy, then push the inner cart back in the mouth piece.

use a paper clip to push up the inside cart with the filler. You might want to think about getting a spare atty or 2. I've heard good things about volcano attys but have never used them. I did try out a Joye 306a atty and it worked well. You can get a 510 passthrough to work with your blu attys.
