i dont own a reos mod at all but i have been looking and i like the bottom feed idea. However it would be nice if this mod or the mini were more pocket friendly. if you put the mod in your front pocket with your key or something else whats to stop the bottle from getting squeezed? so i though maybe have a door with a bottle opening that closes. then i thought some more and said well what if when you put it in your pocket you take off the door and turn it upside down so the bottle windo will be over the positive side of the battery, that would fix that problem...right? do the magnets still work if the doors on upside down? if not, id change that. Also i dont know if you can do this already but, make it a little wider so you can fit a extra atomizer inside of it or if your pocketing it you can take the atomizer off and put it inside so your connection gets less bending stresses in your pocket and last longer. thats my ideas. i dont know if anyone has thought about this or said it? its just my thought.

Been exclusive to REOs for well over a year and would not change thing. Carried them in my pockets and purse without anything squeezing the bottle. If a drop leaked out, it was from not vaping the atty dry before putting in purse/pocket. The magnets and door work perfectly also...just have to try one to really understand the craftmanship and thought that has gone into these little boxes.

Hi, Matthew,
You say you don't own a REO.....well, I think you should. I think everybody should.

The door won't stay on upside-down, but there is never a problem that I've heard of with the bottle getting squonked accidentally. Also, I'm not sure I'd want the positive connection exposed to pocket lint, anyway. I'd rather cover/protect that.

There's not room for an extra atty inside, but I don't think we need one. When anything needs to be changed on the REO, it's usually either the battery or the juice (refill.) Many of us use rebuildable attys, and I've heard of several people sticking a little stash of extra wire/wick down behind the bottle. I actually carry a little pouch with an extra battery and extra juice for anytime I'm away from home longer than planned. It's my emergency stash which almost never gets used.

You would probably be surprised at the size of the REOs. Even the REO Grand is small -- smaller than a regular business card except thicker. They're VERY pocket-friendly just the way they are.

We've all thought about ideas for modifying the REO, and some of them have been incorporated during the several years that the REO has been around. But most of us agree that the REO is perfect the way it is; we've been hard-pressed to find ANYTHING we'd change. I think you owe it to yourself to own one.

Agreed with Della totally. I've had mine in my pocket non stop when not being used not a drop spilled. And no leaks like i would get with my old tanks. My biggest concern before i got mine was how comfortable it was going to be in my pocket and I'm my hand. I tell you it's the same in your pocket as a pack of smokes and it is surprisingly more comfortable to hold then any tube mod.

I think you cant really judge anything unless you have owned it and actually experienced said "problems".

The REO mini 14500 is TINY and VERY pocket friendly. The thing is small bro!
Heck if you have carried a pack of cigarettes around, you can carry the Grand around just fine.

As far as storage for an extra atty? Forget all that, do yourself a favor and get the Reomizer.
Never waste money on atties again.
For $10 you can have enough cotton balls and kanthal wire to last you a verrry long time. Perhaps lifetime...

Honestly, there is a reason for the following the REO has and why Robert is so successful with it.
Its a high quality, US made, tank of a mod...that is dead nuts reliable and backed by top notch customer service.
Along with the RM2, its as good as it gets right now in the vape world (IMO)

EDIT: Failed to mention, you can easily stash extra cotton/wire inside the mod encase of some "emergency"

Just my thoughts on this or any other mod. Don't suggest things to improve something you've never tried. Simply because if you haven't tried it in all of the circumstances you mentioned you simply just don't know. I've never talked about a mod until I owned one just for the reasons I've mentioned. If you lurk here for a couple of weeks and see the enthusiasm from the owners of this mod you'll know there is something special about this device. When you own one you'll know what everyone here knows. Sorry to be so blunt but I'm just that sort of guy. Best to ya.

I think the great thing about a reo is that it is perfect how it is. rarely is something produced that doesn't really have room for improvement, but the reo is one of them. it isn't going to brake or let you down, it isn't going to be replaced by the next latest and greatest model. if reos were made exactly how they are forever, im sure there would be no problems with keeping sales up on them

“There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance — that principle is contempt prior to investigation.”
—Herbert Spencer

Wish I could give this 100 likes. Much more eloquent than the way I put it.

Easy on the poor guy some of you are a little to defensive. Granted with good reason on such a great mod. But I like to believe he was voicing concerns to see replies. I will admit I already snapped my purdy matching green drip tip by having it in my pocket while climbing in and out of my truck....but I got a nice shiny wide base aluminum one on there now so no worries of that happening again. I think the point is pretty clear by the replies here though his concerns are completely unjustified. But from a picture only standpoint I was pretty worried myself before taking the plunge and ordering one. The upside was an easy resell was guaranteed if I didn't like it! lol :p And before anyone gets any ideas...I'm completely satisfied, greeny is not going anywhere!

I'm the same way, I don't own a Rolls Royce Phantom (yet) either but I've been thinking based on the pics I have seen that the climate control could easily get bumped up or down a degree when I go to switch radio stations. Maybe Rolls Royce could ad a cover over the climate control knob that I have to flip up when i want to change cabin temperature or perhaps mover the radio controls 3-4mm to the right ..... that would fix my perceived problem that is probably not really a problem at all if I had a chance to drive one.

I sure hope when I do get to test drive one that my bottle does not get squonked in my pocket when I sit down in the drivers seat or that atomizer stays "stress free" so it lasts longer. I think I'm safe because neither has happened in 2 years and 9 months of sitting with a REO in my pocket but I guess anythings is possible once and while. Somehow I think the Rolls Phantom will be parked in my driveway before I find anything I would change about the REO ....

Thats my ideas. I dont know if anyone has thought about this or said so, its just my thought.
