Got a pile of goodies from Robert today: 2 mini rebuild kits, grand rebuild kit, another delrin cap, and of course I can't order anything from Robert without a mod jumping in the shopping cart .... Yep, I snagged the Tropical Green Blem grand he had up there...

I have an old mini that I need to rebuild, and a grand that probably needs some TLC too... Those will be the weekend projects. I hope I have the same success as you!

You will....it's pretty straightforward. Watch the video. Watch it again. And use a gentle hand.....I don't think there's one step of the process where you just need to crank it down as hard as you can. Especially the center screw that holds the delrin cover on....that is really easy to mess up. It screws right into the aluminum on the back of the body, and if you strip it, it's stripped forever. Know what I mean? Listen to me (the old pro....after all I've done it once....) giving rebuild advice. Ha.

I believe it. I watch about three hours of Murder, She Wrote every night on cable and I have wanted to move to Cabot Cove, Maine, for a long time! Wonder if Alfred would look like Cabot Cove? In fact, I wonder if that show with that fictitious town of Cabot Cove is even filmed in Maine......if it is, it's beautiful.
