One more.... this is a smaller punching machine (price is probably scary, they won't list it :p), but it punches up to 1/2" metal (they sell machines that punch shapes up to 2" thick metal, so you can punch your own wrenches and hammer heads  ): Porta Fab 45 | Ironworkers | Metal Punch | Steel Shear

I was thinking something like this would do the job just fine with the right forming die

Thank you. She's got Alzheimers so I have to pay extra attn to her actions since she can't communicate if something is bothering her. Yesterday she *appeared* to have a seizure -- scans show she didn't but her body has a most unusual way of telling me something is going on.

She's doing much better than yesterday..... me OTOH......I NEED SOME COTTON TO CHANGE MY WICK!!!!! :w00t:
Never heard of a hosp not having ONE cotton ball..... not like I asked for a whole bag.....sheeessssh!

So this here is SOOOOOOOOO totally roughed together. It's just a quick, slash-n'-dash, poke-in-the-eye, big sweeping gesture, ROUGH, dirty MOCKUP of where I was thinking of going with this. This particular material is off-fall from my Buckeye mod. I just took a stab at fabricating something this small and delicate. (in doing it tho, I've got a pretty good idea of how I'd really do it, to achieve nice results).

But I wanted to get it out there to see if this direction would be one for me to pursue a little further. I already intend to make the whole switch assembly LOWER PROFILE (← geeeeeeeeze, dibs, stop yelling already, would'ja?); so the whole assembly would be closer to the deck there (as much as is practical, the max amount that's still practical). The "button" and silver nub would be designed/sized to play nicely together (visually). The "hinge"/corner of the BeCu part, where it hits the top of it's rise and goes horizontal to slip under the button would be slimmed in (so you wouldn't see a corner there). The materials (with this method I'm devising) could be matching (using the same material for button as mod body), or it could be Ivory (that'd be pretty nice), or maybe even Ebony.

It feels very nice.
Very nice.
It also looks cool (in person and in my mind, where it is made nicely and everything is "of a piece") .. . . it floats there in an inviting way (i.e. Jetsons meets "push-me")

Ok guys. I'm stumped. I bought a Svapiamo mod with a sx350 chip from the classies and I can't figure out how the damn thing works. I've gotten from 50w down to ten after an hour of fiddling, but it won't fire. The screen reds check atty. anyone know anything about these? The maker is Italian and I can't find instructions in English.

Busardo has this review of the Yihi SX Mini (which uses the SX350 chip). Starting at about 7:50, he goes into how the chip works.

And finishes about 2 weeks later. But, you'll know it inside and out.
