Cash is king. Here is the situation. International debit card can still withdraw max amount as of 4 days ago. Hopefully they still work.
Supermarkets and malls are still accepting cards, however the 5 restaurants I went to in the past 2 weeks DID NOT accept cards. (One of them even faked that machine was broken lol).
As for prices nothing yet. I see no change. No decline.
ADD: make sure hotel you go to accept a card, one of my reservation on an island got canceled because they said card did not work ... which means they want cash.
With this run . . . I am typeless . . . It's just . . . Wow . . . No words, etc... um . . .

Those are the most beautiful I've seen. Well, right next to a lot of Sumpin's and Dublin's they're the most beautiful. How on earth am I going to be able to decide, not only on a model, but on a wood for my next Dibi mod? And I only have one place left on the list? Should I add another place for a couple of years down the road?
Oh my, oh my, oh my, what pdib can do with various woods and a few bits of metal. I felt pretty good about myself when I made a potting bench for Ms Twist - out of treated yellow pine with no finish - it's ugly, but functional. I felt pretty good helping a friend rebuild his dock - out of marine treated wood and pilings - not so ugly, but functional. I felt pretty good building my tiny little patio fence - out of treated wood and cedar-stained pine - acceptably pretty and slightly functional.
I'm just a budding hobbiest word worker. Will I ever attain such skills with wood? Will I ever make something that is both beautiful AND functional? Heck no! But that's why I really appreciate such talents as pdib and Capt. Steve.

So far we managed to dodge the worst, IMF+ troikas of sorts that is, but that won't last forever.. Unless we find a way to straighten up our politicos, which I don't see as very likely, judging by past experience.
That will be the mother of all EU stability tests, if it eventually happens.. 60+ million people, with a pile of debt raising to high heaven, evenly distributed internally and abroad.. If Europe can withstand that, we're all set.. But somehow I doubt it [emoji4]
Merkel will need to be _much_ more careful about what she wishes for, if we ever come to that point..
Merkel wants a 4th Reich and she's gonna get it.
