There were..a couple times. One was broken by the new owner, glued, and sold anyway.
You do not hate me...I am sending you a wash rag and a bar of ivory for saying that:sneaky:

~~~Gush~~~ I love it. Not sure about the switch though. Is it comfy?
The switch is very comfortable to me: but we've seen how the simplest things in different people's hands don't feel the same. I went through some effort to fabricate in such a way that it has a nice feel. The silver itself is rounded and smoothed. Obviously, all the BeCu edges are meticulously smoothed and eased. The amount of pressure required to fire is pretty light, and/but that can probably be tweaked if need be. The mod is slender enough that it can be held a number of ways with equal comfort and the switch can be fingered with an assortment of digits.
When I was at the store, I snagged a piece of fancy cheese. Taleggio it was called; semi-soft. Anyhow, I accidentally hooked this 1/2lb loaf of cheese on my mod button and I can't get it off. (sheesh!)
Oh, I understand that. I didn't expect everyone would love it. I do tho: and today, for me, that comes first.
I won't be offended by suggestions. I may not act on them; but I'd be stupid not to take free advice. [smiley face; but not that ugly one they're trying to force on us]
Peters switch might me a good idea for him...I wouldn't want one though.
@pdib sorry old boy,...but I wouldn't hang a black bra on a statue of Aphordite..but to each his own and all that jazz..I thought at some point those new switches would be internal?!? If not,..I wouldn't want it. ;)
I have to concur with everybody else, the slimming down of the mod looks fantastic, the switch tho...looks incomplete :(
The switch does however, have a little "steampunk" or "ratrod" charm to it tho ;) If that is the look you were going for you succeeded there.
Personally, I think the Sumpins are more Classy looking with the contrasting materials, the new "this" just seems a bit more utilitarian now.
I love the look of the fully wood body!!! But I don't love the switch look too much either. If it were possible to make a fully internal/recessed switch, that is, one that a finger pad could push in with light pressure, it would sure sit in a purse more safely:).
That's something I've yet to see in any mod, a fire button that won't fully engage unless the button was .5 mm inside the hole, but protruded maybe .5 mm outside the hole so you can 'feel' it ... but it's worth making.
I may have blown up one time, when something stuck on the fire button inside my purse... I pulled the mod out to vape, discovered an extremely hot mod that went in with 100% battery and came out 15 minutes later with 0 charge (not dibi). That's the problem with side buttons and purses and external switches...
That is why I no longer like or use tube mods. But it was totally my fault. Leaving them on and setting them down! Scared me to death..
ETA:except my piccolos... I still like them:sleep:
so the mechanics of this.. Positive battery is always hooked live, ground is always touching batter ground, you depress the button and rather then connecting to battery ground it connects to atomizer ground so the "spark" if there was one would happen at the atty not the battery. Is this an accurate account? Also if you put the battery in opposite way the same would happen except maybe a little shocking ;)
So it's an interesting concept my questions would be, how easy would it be to apply pressure and get that strip out of shape causing it to auto fire?
Thank you unsure! I agree, it is one of the top ones I have seen. That and there was one FB had that was sure pretty as well. I think they are all beautiful. But this one is certainly my favorite. It was so weird yesterday but I was just drawn to the thread. Then I just thought oh well let's see what's going on in the classies these days and there it was...I really couldn't believe it. I hope there is not a sad reason sedge had to part with it. I can say I want to learn whatever I need & want to keep it just as it is. It won't leave the house.
Just saw this..Sedge have a SAD reason for parting with his Sumpin? That's doubtful..you should see that mans collection..I mean I couldn't think of any reason he wouldn't like it..More like he had his mind on something that is extreme and expensive..Raising a bit of quick cash for a major purchase or something..lol :p
