It happens...part of the design of the battery. It will continue to get less the more charges you put on it. It's only rated for something like 300 or so charges. I've had mine since March and the best I've had was 1200 puffs. However, I've also noticed the way I vape has changed as well...I take longer puffs than I did when I first started. That will also help decrease the number of puffs you get per charge.

It will also depend on the power setting you're using when vaping. If you are using a higher wattage/voltage you'll exhaust the battery much more quickly.

My MVP v1 lasted me about a year before the battery life really started taking a hit, still carry it in my bag as a backup battery but have moved on to a new mod.

I agree with the previous posters that vape style changes (frequency of use, length of button push, voltage, etc.).

You might also try cleaning the connections (device and topper). Gunk build up on the 510 connector can add resistance that can negatively affect performance.

The .ohms on both the coil units and the built in ohm readers are +/- .1 ohms usually, combined with wattage adjustment, coil units varying in quality and output, along with them getting gunked up if you don't change them regularly, plus your vaping style has changed if this was your first MVP setup I would guess.

It's hard to say but if I had to bet, I would guess that it's more like the above variables than it is the battery. Now it's possible that it's the battery, and you could have it replaced if you wanted to and it needs it, there's lots of people that would replace the battery and the 510 connection for you at the same time while they were digging in, if that was something you wanted to do.

You could always spend $30 or $38 or whatever the new MVP costs and swap the batteries and then you'll have a lot of spare parts, and a new battery on the anniversary present without losing the centimental value. I think I'd roll with it like it is and see if you see it rapidly degrading or not, and if it charges like normal. Maybe even leave it charging longer than just until the green light comes on, or possibly charge it, use it a few minutes and plug it back up to top it off.

Usually when these batteries go bad though, they go bad completely. Like it will die, when you go to charge it or take a puff the lights are wonky as hell and wont charge or wont fire, something like that. With what you're describing, I'm thinking everythings probably fine.

My wife's varies somewhat. Depends if she chain vaped her mini all day or didn't clean it well. I put a new bvc in her mini when I picked it up lightly used from our local B&M. She gets anywhere from 2 to 3 days between charges depending on use at anywhere from 9 to 10w. Never paid attention to puff count might look at that one day.

Rechargeable batteries die slowly over time; it is not going to give you 1300 puffs for a year then suddenly drop to zero; it is going to continue losing capacity.

June, July, August, September;

also if you started with single coils and have not switched to dual coils running double the power, you will find you only get half the puffs; is that what's going on? Or were you using dual coils since June?
