"We would like to announce that all studies associated with temperature evaluation are progressing at a satisfactory pace. We are currently assessing the temperatures associated with dry puff conditions, by recruiting experienced vapers who are asked to use atomizers at different power levels and report the generation of dry puffs while the temperature of evaporation is measured.
Moreover, we have already submitted a study for publication, in which we evaluate formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein and acetone levels at different power levels, DIFFERENTIATING normal vaping from dry puffs. This study is extremely important, and i can reveal that the results were better than expected. It seems that the dry puff taste is a very sensitive natural defense mechanism, which is detected at very low levels of aldehydes. In that study, we have also measured the temperatures but we decided to report them in a separate paper.
We currently have 5 papers under review, so we will soon have a barage of publications with very important data on the safety of e-cigarette use. I am sure all studies will provide valuable information for vapers."

Dr F advised vapers not to overheat coils till they glow (dry burn to fix or clean coil) as it "destroys the bones between the metal molecules, thus greatly faciliating the emission of metals from the coil into the vapour."
