I believe the hook goes something like:

an te ting go POP POP POP!
skibbly doo, POP POP!
Bdddddddddat Dat, Dat Dat Dat Dat!

I'm just glad HE said it,
so that I don't have to hear it from my mod.
ALTHOUGH, I feel like they could fit this, as an overheat tone on the next innokin chip?

Well, now that I know the intent and level..... That still doesn't stop it from sucking.

S'okay… I've gotten used to really awful rap of all types.

I mean, I even own (paired with my kiddo) an "I'm on a boat "censored censored") T shirt, which has as many of the cuss words as we could find. I love that song and it is frankly, terrible, while also being one of the best rap parodies ever.

I used to enjoy wearing it with the kid to the store, back during a time period where old ladies like, gazed at my husband with GRAVE discontent, thinking, "Why do you let your niece and your son get AWAY with this." Like, neon pulsing letters overhead.

I would just be thrilled if this parody sucked a little less, but it is truly on skin off my nose, etc.

There was some famous writer who once said that 90% of everything is crud. I suppose that applies as much to rap and parody rap as anything else.

That is hysterical.

Here's the whole vid ---it's a real song! This one has the lyrics....the clip from the first post is at like 1:4 something

Quack Quack Quack!

Some really funny comments on youtube ...

He's a comedian --- irl

Ah so the pertinent thing is that he’s saying nothing at all pertinent. I guess I am to take this that the OP of the video actually thinks the whole discussion on the dangers of mech mods is a pile of crap. And because he can’t argue cogently chooses to use a way of saying it so vague and difficult to interpret as to get away with it for a short time. His option I guess. Gonna be harder to feel bad when he blows his face off with that ultra sub ohm high wattage mech he thinks makes him look cool but impresses basically no one here.

I don't think so. I think rap's one entirely unintended bragging point is that for the last 40 years it has released 100% pure unadulterated hippo crap since 1979 when the Sugar Hill Gang released the one and only good rap song.

I don’t know about that personally. If I had to choose a best rap song it likely wouldn’t be that one. That just probably means I’m a bit younger than you is all.
Sure, A lot of rap is bad and/or manufactured freeze dried pap just like any other pop music medium. Most of pop is basically “captain and tenille” over and over again. A given child is entranced by a pop group mostly because they’ve never seen one before and are susceptible to the generalized commonalities they market. Whatever generation you happen to belong to has its own set of such music that is somehow “different” and “more real” than that of past or succeeding generations. This is not to say that decent stuff doesn’t crop up. It just means that it’s very difficult to locate until the dross is scrubbed away by time.

Now you are just being bombastic! (Sorry, I couldn't resist )
Heh. That is in fact the exact reason for the name.

I’ve never been able to help myself. I was raised by college professors. Most family discussions were in “lecture mode” and I can’t seem to keep from falling into it.

I like my rap to be political rather than gangsta or braggadocious, so I'm a big fan of Boogie Down Productions and early Tupac (I'm stuck in the eighties/nineties, rapwise).
I also found ice “T” fascinating. His music was often a great deal more political than it initially sounded.

Good art is usually that way. You’ve both got to have something worth saying and a unique and excellent way of saying it.

You might also like “the last poets”. It’s some of the very first proto rap from the 1960s. Just drums. Very very political.

Thanks @bombastinator, I felt that needed to be said. It's easy to dismiss an entire genre from a perspective of 1. ignorance and 2. taste. I mean, fine if you don't get it, but there's no need to be a dick about it.
I wanted to say that I don't even know why I would care so much that I would go into a discussion fueled by taste based opinions, but that's not true. It makes me sad that a lot of disharmony in the world comes from that type of uninformed and dismissive rhetoric. And there are so many great hip hop artists that have a beautiful message, that give a voice to those that didn't have one and tell real stories about real life struggles. But, I do understand that that is my own frame of reference and that not everyone will share it and I do respect that.

@stols001 I understand why you think it's crap. You're obviously not a rap fan and know nothing about the UK Grime scene, so the joke is lost on you. But I know for a fact that there are people who would say the same about Tenacious D, just because they don't like rock and don't understand the nuances. We could start a whole discussion based on musicality and taste, but that would really be a waste of time. But I get it, I do.

Glad to know someone liked it. Hard not to be a dick back at the OP though. It’s looking like the whole post was basically a dick move to begin with.
