I've ordered from atmosusa aka vapor alley before for some bats for my grand. just ordered a mini (surpised to fined one on the site and the color i wanted too) looking for safe (and chaep) batteries. Don't have a meter and don't like the idea of a warning. I have a "smart charger" UltraFire WF-188 Smart Charger so should i worry about overcharging these. i do tend to leave my batts on overnight. ( iknow i know it's not perfect but i can't sit here watching them charge)

better vendor? better price? what about Trustfire 14500 Flames? better bet? someone reputable carries them and some misc cartos and tips?

IMR 14500

Price per Unit (piece): $6.99

Ask a question about this product These cells can handle high amperage and are safe to use in series / multi-cell applications. They can be charged with any Li-ion battery charger with 4.2V output.
Great for 3.7 volt use in your electronic cigarette mod.

Specifications:
Nominal Voltage : 3.7V
Capacity : 600mAH
Lowest Discharge Voltage : 2.50V
Standard Charge : CC/CV ( max. charging rate 1.5A )
Cycle Life : > 500 cycles
Attention : These IMR cells have much lower internal resistance than regular LiIon 3.7V cells and they may end up with a higher ending voltage when charged in certain chargers.
Please check the voltage of them right out of the charger to see if they are above 4.20V when fully charged with your charger. Overcharging above 4.25V may shorten life/cycles. Above 4.50V may even cause damage. DO NOT use the charger if it seems to overcharge IMR cells.
Sold as 1 battery, not a 2-pack
Three chargers work for these:
TrustFire MultiFunctional TR-001
UltraFire WF-188 Smart Charger
TrustFire 3.7v Lithium battery fast charger

From what I have read about the Ultrafire WF-188. It has a safety feature in that if the charger has reached full charge then it will switch to a "trickle charge" to prevent over charging the battery. It'll be the same as what a Pila charger does as well during that situation.

Also, I read that you can use the Trustfires but you will suffer in performance. 6.99 is the best price you will get for the AW IMR 14500's. I get mine from RTD vapor:

I ordered trustfire's.
glad to hear the "smart" charger is smart.
getting a mini--already have a grand but have discovered that im not going through the batt so fast anymore and wouldn't mind carrying something a bit lighter.

the reo has been good to me--went travelling a lot this summer and while i carried spares and extras and back-ups i never needed em. getting a little complacent sometimes now...
been so satisfied i stayed off the forum for 6-8 weeks...no cig problems for 2 months! unbelievable.

also RF thanks for the tips on using the boge 2.0s when i was getting started. work great for my juice/vape style. I am an atty killer from way back.

Those are NOT AW IMR 14500's. Those are BDL IMR's in a red wrapper. The BDL's do not hold a charge well and have caused some people to wonder what was wrong with their REO.

The AW IMR's are the absolute best battery to use in a Mini and make a lot of difference in performance because they are the only battery in that size which is capable of providing the power needed for a LR atty.
