Hi I'm a new guy :) A google search about Imren batteries led me to a post by a member here. I was going to post a link to the post made. But it won't allow me to post a link to a post made on this forum. LOL !
I was going to respond to the post but was unable because I haven't met the 5 post requirement. Seems like a cool place, maybe I'll stick around and make 5 posts someday :)
In the meantime I have some of the Imren 18650 cells I've just recently been using. They are the 38a 2600mah cells. They actually seem to be what they state they are. I haven't tried pulling 38a out of one, but the capacity is as stated. The internal resistance is lower than a 35a cell. They maintain battery voltage under load better than any Panasonic, AW, Efest, LG or Sanyo battery I have put them up against. They don't appear to be a re-branded cell. I removed the wrapper on one just to see. Now I have to rewrap it.
The only bad thing I have found about this cell is availability.
Just thought I'd drop by and let you know my findings. I was pleasantly surprised by this battery. I'm running it in a 5.6w laser that pulls 6a running one 18650. It's the only battery I have found that keeps up.
Hope to see y'all around ! :)

Thanks for the info. This is a great forum. You should stick around! Plenty of sub forums to share info and make friends with fellow vapors. If you answer all your reply you will have your 5 posts in no time at all and can venture off to the sub forums of your choice. These forums of some of the nicest people you will ever meet here and I'm serious, you won't regret hanging around. These guys are so supportive and genuine and generous. I know I've learned so much from these kind people. Just letting you know it will be worth it if you stick around. Just wanted to say hi and welcome. Hope you stay. :)

Thanks realsis ! :) Your helping me get my 5 posts in ! I just know how frustrating it can be looking for a good battery. So many of them aren't even close to what they state they are. This one was a pleasant surprise ! I can't wait till the 40a becomes available :) I might just build me a laser powered vaporizer. Hmm .. :)
Hey YeahItsMe ! Your an Okie too ! :) Well ain't that just Okie Dokie :) I got them from fleabay, a seller called r-Isales . I have ordered quite a few batteries from them. They ship fast. They are unprotected IMR Li-MN cells.
Dagnabitt. I had to edit my post so I didn't double post. Wasted a perfectly good post so the post police won't get after me. This should count two for one. :)

They are the highest I've found so far. I'm not familiar with the vtc5 30A. I know they test better than the LG LGABD11865 cell which is the next best cell I've found. I had been using Panasonic batteries but none of them could keep up with this build. That's how I wound up here actually, looking for battery info :) A heater can draw a lot of current. Thought I might find the Holy Grail of batteries here and share what I have found.

Thanks for the welcome ! I haven't tried vaping, well, I tried one of those rechargeable cigarette looking things that taste like cardboard. Said nope that's not for me :) Looks like it has gotten pretty hi-tech and came a long way. Might give it another shot. I've been browsing around the forum :)
Thanks for help with my post count ! :) I think I'm up to 3 :)

I have two of these batteries; I've had them for several weeks now. I can say that they perform very well on all my mods (iHybrid Pure, copper Nemesis, Stingray X and Segeli 100W). Their life is impressive. They last far, far longer than the MNKE's and seem to draw very consistent power until perhaps 7/8ths of their charge has been utilized. I'm not a battery nerd, so I haven't tested any of these specs myself. Many on the Reddit forums claim to have independent test data suggesting that these batteries actually fall into the 1700 mah range and do not outperform 25R batteries, but this thread appears to suggest different results, as do my experiences with them.
