Call it selfish, but i just get tired of explaining it oooover and oooover and ooooooover to ppl ill probably see or sit next to once or twice a semester. And i especially get uncomfortable when ppl ask to hold it or vape from it too.

Agreed.

I didn't mind during the first few weeks of vaping, but now I avoid these situations at all costs. I've grown tired of giving explanations to people I won't see again.

I can appreciate your frustration. But while you may never see these people again personally, you may see their influence again when E-cigs are excepted or rejected by the general population. Just try to imagine that each short pleasant explaination now, can grow to more and more people accepting PV's and us vaporers.

i did not read all the posts... but alot... so i dont know if anyone has said this in here yet or not. but if you dont know if you should vape in a area, i WOULDNT. just because you can doesnt mean you should. i hate soundin like a ol granny but, this in opinion is a very new, unstable concept to the general public.... one wrong move and its all over... word of mouth will spread that its a horrible thing. we are like walking bill boards for these things, now the bill board could be a picture of gold so to speak, but if you do it incorrectly it could be a bill board of satan. all im saying is, we are the pioneers of this here.... lets not mess it up and give the government,FDA or any other ANTI smoking/vaping establishment any fuel against us.

if you got permission like the one lady in this post to vape in class.. awesome, if not i wouldnt.

end of rant... i feel a beat down coming lol

I highly agree with Cheetah here. It's really bad to ruin a good thing that we have so far. My bro's friend is still in high school, though he does go to an alternative school for troubled kids, he vapes there and luckily for him, it doesn't cause problems for the other students and teachers. But in the regular mainstream schools, vaping during class may become a problem not because it might cause a distraction but because it might encourage some young fool to vape and ruin it for all of us. Despite myself vaping anywhere without care in NJ due to the bull.... ban they put up last year, I am against vaping in classes. Though it's fun to do "Show and Tell" once in a while, it's just not a good idea to vape and have some kid get all hissy for it.

Sorry for the rant as well, I had to share my opinion

It's important to keep in mind that we're (or at least I) talking about College classes, not High School.

Very different in relation to this sort of thing, I think.

Very true, but some colleges are so old school, a dimebag of weed to them makes them believe you're some sort of drug cartel. >.<
