I greatly appreciate all the great advice. I just got my ego in the mail today. I had an analog at ten this morning and after I made sure everything worked, I vaped a while. I must say the double mint eliquid that I got is really amazing. I haven't had the urge for a real cigarette yet. I've gotten myself a wee bit lightheaded but still haven't wanted an analog yet. I'll keep you all posted with my progress.

Congratulations and welcome,

Stick with it, even if it gets a bit frustrating. The benefits far outweigh the vaping learning curve.

After 43 years of smoking, I quit using 36mg nicotine on vape day 2, and it's been 8 months since I had a cigarette.
I mix my own eliquids now and am around 20-24mg. Whatever it takes to stay off cigs is what I will do.

Yea, I've had "urges" to smoke since, but I just vape big time for a bit and that urge goes away.

Good luck and stick close to ECF to learn and share. :thumb:

The cartomizers you are using, are they hard plastic that have to be filled with a syringe? If so, you could try the new dual coil cartomizers that are made specifically for the ego battery. My husband and i have been using them for about a week and they work very well. Also, Boge 2.0 cartos work well but don't hold near as much liquid as the new dual coil.

I have the ego t atomizers and used to use them :) If you get one that works right, they are nice other than a muted flavor. When they don't work right, it can become a very frustrating vaping event. If I had it to do over, I'd skip the ego t atties and stick with cartomizers.
Yes I do use the Ego Cartos that require the syringe. I only fill them that way the first time. I've found through trial and error that the best way to top them off is by dripping ten to fifteen drops into the connector on the bottom. This has been better than refilling with the syringe method because sometimes the syringe method can cause juice leaks if you put to much into them. I generally stop dripping once the liquid stops seeping into the connection port on the bottom and then I put the rubber caps back on both ends and shake vigorously for about thirty seconds to distribute the juice and they are ready to vape again. I'm still using the same two cartos almost two full weeks later. Now if I could find a way to clean them I'd have it made.
