Hi, Shane. Smoke Free? Kiosk? Ouch! Never, never, never buy anything from a kiosk... It's all ripoff. Overpriced junk and no returns, horrible customer service. Wanna read about them?

Unless you have friends in the States who would be willing to order from them and ship those cartos to you, risking possible custom issues, your case is most likely lost.

Wow, lot's of bad blood on that company!! Yeah at this point I'm going to stop the fight, my pa is stopping the charge on his credit card and we are chalking it up to a learning experience. Too bad thought, he really enjoys it and is actually a nice model, tastes good and produces. Ah well, need to find him another, there isn't a whole lot out there for good rechargeable it seems. Lot's of disposables, but some of them are insanely priced (50 dollars for one disposable? better last a year and be gold plated!!) My pa only really likes cigars, and also wants something that looks real like his current model.

Can you show us a picture of your Dad's PV? Do you know the threading?

It may be possible to find a compatible cartomizer--if we knew the threading. I vaguely remember that the Smoking Everywhere Gold batteries were KR808D-2, just like GreenSmoke. But that was a long time ago...

Do you have a link? Maybe someone here will recognize it.

I'm sure there are e-cigar vendors in Canada, but I'm hopelessly unfamiliar with the subject. We need Vapoor! :)

I am in awe of the great people on this site!!!! Not only very knowledgeable, but had a very nice person pm with a site that sells the cartos to Canada! At least my pa can keep getting them until the unit burns out. I am definitely here to stay, thank you everyone! :D

WOW! Make sure that they are compatible with your dad's e-cigar!

Sorry but I was sure I had posted this or sent him a pm. You can request a Cdn Vendors List here although you'll find that Canvape has the lowest prices and the largest selection:

It's always a good idea to buy from an ECF listed/ verified company.
Without a pic of your Dad's cigar I "think" it uses RN4081. Just starting s search for blanks so he would have to fill his own. Or he could buy a RN4081 to 510 adapter and use 510 cartos OR a RN4081 to 808 adapter and use 808 cartos. But we need a pic.

This has been a great thread for me.
I am also new the the vaping world and the forum.
My wife bought a HDSmoke starter kit 2 days ago. It is what was available locally. She thinks it's great but I find it lacking a bit.
From what I can tell it is a 510 battery. Is this correct? Is there any reason I can't refill the cartomizers?

By the way, I also have a Lab. He's a 12 year old Black Lab. His health is very good so far.
We lost our female Black Lab in Oct. 2011 at 14.5 years of age, which is a long life for the breed.

This is Lucy. I don't have a photo of the male (Tosha) with me.

You should be able to refill them. When completely dry they should take 1 ml juice. They are 510 threaded cartos. As for a new kit prolly get a good one for about $40- $50 BUT they're a little larger than the cig sized.

Aww they look so sweet and have to be the most passive but fun loving dogs ever. So very sorry about your loss.
After 5 posts wait 1 hr for the ECF servers to reset and you can request a Cdn Vendors List- should be able to find much cheaper supplies

eGo, eGo-T, and eGo-C are very similar, if not identical, batteries. eGo-C is a newer model, with better circuitry. eGo-T is the same as eGo, but comes with tank-type cartomizers. This was Joyetech's first attempt at making a fillerless cartomizers, sort of a cross between an atty and a carto; it's an older technology and it had some problems, so don't go there. eGo-C has similar carto/atty combo with a tank, but it comes with changeable coils, so it's a big improvement.

I have used both eGo-T and eGo-C and I love the C. There is also an eGo-C Twist--the only difference is that Twist offers variable voltage from 3.0 to 4.8 volts. Twist are also bigger than other eGos because of the vv circuitry. I own three and all three are working great.

If I were to shop for an eGo-batter now, I'd probably get an eGo-C kit (with tanks and some spare coils) and a Twist, just to be able to play with VV. Some people complain that eGo-C tankomizers mute flavors. I'm not so sure abot it, but it is something to consider. Of course, once you own an eGo battery, you can look at other cartomizers and clearomizers that are designed for the eGo threading. Plenty of good ones to choose from. I like clearomizers with changeable coils! They are easy to use and the taste they deliver is very good.

Bottom line--you can't go wrong with an eGo battery. You don't even need to buy a kit, you can buy whatever battery you want a la carte! All you really need is batteries, a fast eGo charger (5v, 420 mAh output), a wall adapter (not necessary but recommended), and some cartomizers/clearomizers/atomizers of your choice.

Good luck!

It's a Swahili word that means "enough'. We figured two Labs was enough.
LOLLLL thank you for the laugh.

I am looking at the eGo line. I don't mind that it doesn't look like a cigarette.
The longer battery life and refillable tanks appeal to me.
I am having trouble figuring out the difference between eGo, eGo-T and eGo-C though.
Hi Ang-EC...
eGo is a class of PV...
JoyTech eGo fires @ 3.3 volts
Kgo fires @ 3.7 volts
SmokTek eGo fires @ 3.7 volts
All 3 are manufactured by large and reputable companies.
"The batteries are actually the same, it's the attomizer setup that makes one a C (Changeable) and the other a T (Tank)."
You want to stay away from the older tank system (cartridge+ atomizer) as they are prone to leakage.
In regards to battery life- 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge is needed.
I like the Kgo cuz of the extra voltage. On it I use a Vision Mini Vivi Nova ( holds 2 ml). It's a tank with a head (coil/ element+ wick) inside. The head can be easily cleaned and mine are lasting 6-8 weeks. New heads are cheap ($3.00) and easily replaced (10 secs)

Hi Katya. Thanks for clarification. So hard to keep up with this stuff

Hello Vapoor!

Just one thing, the newer eGos actually output 3.5-3.6v under load. They have been tested (under load). Joyetech has heard our complaints. ;)

They Rivas (another eGo clone) run at 3.7v under load (also tested).

Hi Katya. Thanks for clarification. So hard to keep up with this stuff

I just happen to know that little tidbit because I was a witness to the extensive testing performed by Scottbee, our resident battery guru, on the eGos and the Rivas! He was the one who first discovered that the Rivas ran at 3.7v under load, just like Kgos. Scottbee's thread Battery Voltages-- Surprise is a great read, if you have a lot of time on your hands. :)

And now we have a bunch of VV eGos and eGo clones.
