...unfortunately my parents dog (family dog!) passed away last night, most beautiful chocolate lab you've ever seen. We have had the gift of sharing her life to a ripe 11 years old :( know it's off topic but I am hurting, she was family!

Since you were in expert hands and I'm still a newbie, I drifted off the thread. Just now saw this. Wanted to pop back in and express my deepest sympathies. I just lost the second of my two this past November. It's rough. No matter how long they live, it's never long enough.

Mine were rescues and not particularly handsome fellows but both were very special dogs (and, nah, the "avatar" over there to the left isn't one of them, just a funny pic I like). Both lived long and very happy lives but I miss them both very, very much.

Hi Shane, congratulations on getting off cigarettes and for making such rapid progress ... can see I'll want to stay in touch as at this rate you are probably going to be able to build your own supplies if the government cracks down!

You have voiced something I have been pondering ... whether we are better off trying to lie low and just get the work out to other smokers rather than trying to publicize vaping to politicians Health Canada etc. It is not that material to me whether or not vaping is allowed in restaurants workplaces etc because it is not really any different that restrictions I am already used to from smoking ... what concerns me more is access to ejuice/supplies, reasonable costs, and the chance to quietly get the word out to other smokers that there is an option less damaging to their health. I am wondering if we are better off with a "don'task/don't tell" environment rather than pushing for decisions which may force the government to take action such as outright banning it, taxing it, cracking down on existing laws, issuing statements that it is dangerous which may discourage current smokers from considering the option ... etc etc etc.

Not saying these things are necessarily going to be avoided by keeping a low profile - guess I am just questioning what good is likely to result by increasing political visibility in comparison with probable negative outcomes.

Really good point to bring up.

Thanks for articulating what I said better, you have the gift to gab ;) It is scary, I don't think they will be able to publish very much on the negative health effects side of it, there are universities that have done some studies and although they have found a few of the same carcinogens in the vapour, they are not even close to the levels that analogs produce. I'm sure it will eventually go the way Vapoor is describing in the Utah situation, they will try to get their greedy hands in our pockets with it. I mean, states are now coming around with taxing mary jane, they realize they can't stop everyone using it, throw money at the "war" etc. If it comes to that, I can see us digging our heels in, ordering nicotine leaves or growing our own tobacco, making our own nic juice and such. I remember when smokes first started to hike in price and me and my pa started ordering from yessmoke.com to not feel the pinch so bad, until they got shut down anyways. When there is a will.....

So a quick update, should have 90 mls of juice from canvape sitting in my mailbox today, can't wait to try them!!! They shipped them out fast, good service. I give it a few days before I'm ordering some additional flavors :p Couldn't have been better timing, on my last carto from my first order :D

Great and Hi. There's a story behind the beginnings of Canvape. Sometime I'll pm it to you and you'll understand why so many of us are so loyal to Adam and Canvape.

I have an order coming from Canvape. Less than 2 days from Barrie, ON to Moncton, NB.
The package arrived in Moncton at 13:50 Friday afternoon. I live across a fairly small river from Moncton. It is now 16:50 Monday afternoon. I haven't received it yet and probably won't today.
Great job Canada Post. 2 days to travel half way across the country and another two days to travel a mile across a river.

Yes, I am grumpy. :)
