So far my area is just getting a little rain. Nothing major moving my way..

Here in N. Mi. it's just typical winter weather but S. Mi. is getting blasted. I'm gonna be on the phone with my grandkids down there a lot tomorrow! And my SIL and her two sons are in the suburbs of Boston, so I'll be checking on them,too.

Cappy is in the N.Y. area...haven't heard from him since yesterday, he's been spending most of his time with his sis in the hospital, I hope he knows what's coming his way!

And Delilah...and the Jedi master squonktologist.... we're all gonna be on pins n needles for the next couple of days...

I just heard from cappy...he doesn't have internet in the hospital, he was at home for a minute..He wasn't aware of the severity of the coming blizzard...he said he was going back home tomorrow morning for a while, I told him I don't think so, the roads will be closed down,
there's a blizzard coming your way tonight so where ever you're at tonight you'll probably be there till at least Mon.

The Dr.s still don't know what's wrong with his sis! Cappy said she's on morphine.He was vaping in the bathroom but last night he started vaping in the room itself. A Dr. came in the roon while he was vaping, looked at him and asked what it was.

Cappy told him.." opium"...the Dr. said oh cool, lol

Sounds like something Cappy would say all right. Sure hope they find out what's wrong with his sister soon. Must be a real worry to him, needless to say. Good thing you let him know about the blizzard!! At least he is forewarned now as, like you said, he could very likely be holed up in the hospital for the duration.

So far so good. I'm at work (Logan Airport) but hope to get out of here by 3 this afternoon. It's snowing right now, but it's really only heavy flurries. Wind is picking up, but Logan is a big open space on the waterfront, so that's not out of the norm. The worst of the storm is supposed to happen tonight, say from 7PM through early morning Saturday. Forcasting up to 3 feet of snow and 70 mph wind gusts, HooHar! I live 15 miles north of Boston, and we should be one of the heaviest hit areas. I'll post later as things get more fun!

I'm not sure if I count as S. Mi. -- I'm in Lansing area. But 6 inches of snow is very meh Didn't even stop my 2wd compact from getting over a plowed pile of snow behind my driveway and going to work. And, as it turns out, Reo Grand works great in a blizzard, so yay! Reminds me of the pain of snow extinguishing my stinkies last winter (and 24 winters before that)
