Made it home without incident (It's still not so bad out there, maybe an inch and a half), and the best part is I got an email from Rob letting me know he got a batch of tumbled raw aluminum Grands in! Got one! And my SS Hornet arrived today! Can someone say "Best snow-day evah"!

The first thing I thought of when I heard about the weather for the northeast was Rob's gonna get it!

We're in NE Tennessee and had our share of icky weather already this year. They call school if it threatens to snow. I come from Wisconsin and Indiana, where they laugh at a couple inches. But then again, here they don't have all the equipment the north does to handle it, and the narrow, twisty mountainous roads here are dangerous if there's snow.

Hope everyone is prepared and stays warm!

That is one of the worst areas!!! Hope you were prepared for at least a couple days with bad weather. I am afraid we are going to hear lots about power going out.

I hope you have another power source, and everyone else around the Boston area, the weather reports are saying that the power could be out for about a week!!

Glad you have that generator. They are indispensable when you need them! I'm afraid many more will be wishing for the same before this thing runs it's course and the power is back on everywhere.

I just talked with cappy...well, he mostly yawned..... He's back home with his sister, save and sound. He said it took him over 3 hrs. to travel what usually takes 40 mins, but when he got home most of his power was out, no tv, no puter and his phone was running out of power,too, so we might not hear from him again for a while. But at least they're safe.

Glad to hear he is back home and safe. I really hope all the people without electric don't have to wait too long for the repairs.

Hey gang, well I'm stranded at my shop. 6-8 foot drift in front of the door. Roads closed. No state or town trucks, not sure if sent home. As bad as 78 I think idk. Gona sleep hour or two and reassess.

I'm in CT right now. The snow drift has the 4 foot window on the 2nd floor completely blocked.
Roads look crazy. Thank god my brother has a truck + plow. Yard looks like we got about 4ft.
Snow is 3 quarters up the light posts, and about halfway up an 8ft pole in the yard.
My neighbors shoveled their driveway already and the snow is still up to the windows of their SUV.
Looks like we must of gotten a nice big drift across our properties. Hope every1 is OK here!!
