Until each individual figures out what methods to quit smoking works best for them, every cigarette you don't smoke is one step closer to reaching the goal.

I dual used for eleven months before I joined this forum, it wasn't until I realized as long as I smoked any amount I'd never quit smoking.
It wasn't easy, I picked a day and said from this point forward no more.
Since that day I haven't smoked, took a single hit or even held an unlit cigarette because even after all this time I know what would happen if I did.

Everyone is different, use whatever methods to quit that work best for you & be happy.

Sometimes doing things like Jon Gruden would works Better than taking the Tony Dungy approach.

The OP is obviously conflicted with what he may see as a serious challenge. Perhaps his execution toward dealing with that challenge is not the best of approaches. Do we show support or lash out with condescending remarks?
I had to go back and read the posts prior to this one. All of them did offer support and advice, including Tim Wiseman's. Except, some might say, mine. But mine was an attempt at humor to (accurately, I believe) point out that if quitting smokes was his goal, he was choosing to put huge obstacles, in the form of temptation, in the way. Hey, if I was gonna "lash out," it'd be about his choice of supporting the Buccaneers. ;)

I thought after posting it, and wondered how he'd do. I thought if he failed, he'd realize he probably shouldn't have had those smokes on-hand, and would do better next time. I think we all know how rare it is to succeed the first try.

I'm just thrilled you made it through, @buccaneersfan! For me, it got progressively easier after the first 3-4 days or so. And became really easy after a few weeks. Hang in there - you don't want to throw away your hard work put in so far! It DOES get easier. And like I've been saying since my first month - vaping makes it so easy, it's like cheating. You get to have everything you liked about smoking, except the stinky-... carcinogens.

I'm also planning to order my second kit any suggestions based on below..

I am using smok nord but I believe there are better devices out there that give more cigarette kick and clouds and longer battery life.

In devices I like thin mouth piece instead of fat mouthpiece. Varaiable wattage devices are fine but plz suggest what wattage or resistance I should keep. Can you suggest device name and also give me the liquid name with 24mg or more that is smooth to smoke and also gives cigarette feeling.

Sounds like you're looking to stick with a pod, rather than mod/atomizer combo. I do Mouth To Lung inhale (like a cigarette), and the best hitting pod I've found that delivers that cigarette throat hit is the Innokin EQ (and I do have a Nord, but it's kind of airy/non MTL for me, and not as much TH). Innokin has other pods that use the same coil if you're looking for other features or form factor.

If you want something along the lines of a mod/atty, I'd recommend the Innokin Kroma/Zenith kit. Reliable, easy to use, not expensive, highly regarded around here, and for me, Innokin coils are the best for MTL with an authentic throat hit.

If you're going to stick with it, and want to get the best hit possible, and are willing to build coils, I'd recommend any mod you want, and get the True MTL tank. Or the Doggystyle.

I make my own juice with NET (Naturally Extracted Tobacco) , so I can't really give a juice recommendation. But I can tell you that NET juices give the best representation of a real smoke. I think Heather's Heavenly Vapes is probably the most commonly recommended NET juice around here, but I started DIY before I ever tried them. Or Black Note, but it's really pricey.

Oh, and by the way - if you haven't already (sounds like you're just now looking), get a backup device ASAP. You don't want the Nord to crap out on you, and end up buying smokes. If it happens, grab a Juul instead of a pack. They're not my favorite, but will do the trick. I have several long-time-smoking family members that quit with them.

I am fine with mods too, I just want something that takes in high nictone without causing cough or harshness in throat and also cause huge clouds. I am planning to order new device asap incase nord times out.

I looked at Innokin Kroma/Zenith it says 75w. Is this sufficient power/wattage? I am planning to hold the device for long term. Are there any 150/200w devices (is that much wattage needed for me at this point?) that dont cause throat burn and cause clouds on 24mg nic

If you can handle 24mg/ml @ 150 Watts, you can qualify for the ECF's Man's Man Award.

LOL

Your desired nic concentration decreases as you increase the wattage, since more liquid is vaporized in each puff.

Oh, God yes, 75W is plenty! The mod is adjustable, so you can start at 7-8W, and move it up slowly to the point you like it (you'll likely stop before 20W). I typically use only 8-10W on 0.58 ohm coil. 75W is the max it'll fire at. I forget what wattage on Nord is, but it's nowhere near 75W, I can assure you of that. Any additional wattage just translates into longer battery life. But I use a 2000mAh device all day, and only use about 60-65 percent of its power by day end.

This is one of the advantages of a mod/atty combo. You get flexibility you don't get in most pods. And if you find you want to try another atty, you can still use the Kroma mod on any atty you want. And when you find the atty you like (the most important part), you can pick whatever mods suit you. You're no longer required to by specific coils or pods from a specific manufacturer. And you can use whatever juice you want in them. That's how most of us have progressed to what we use today. Although I still pack a small pod for discrete vaping in a store or restaurant.

Clouds aren't a function of the mod, but the atty. And in general, you'll need to decide whether you want to replace the cigarettes with a similar experience, or blow clouds. The atties I mentioned do the former. I can't make recommendations on cloud atties, but plenty of others here can.
