A week later, I retried 45/45/10 PG/VG/DW and 50/50 PG/VG L.S.D.. This time, 50/50 PG/VG one seems to have a bit more flavor than the one with 10% DW. But the one with DW vapes "cleaner" and less parching. In terms of impact of juice running out of my tanks and wicking, I didn't have any problems with the DW one.

I went ahead and prepared 46/46/8 PG/VG/DW juices. Maybe I'll increase the flavorings by about 1-2 drops per 10 mL if needed.

I also prepared 90 mL of 42/46/8 base in anticipation of adding 4% PG flavoring later. This is the first time I prepared a naked base for future use, LOL :) I think that'll help with steeping.

Good testing procedure :)

Does anyone have experience with harshness reducer from Inawera? I find different opinions across the internet...

I got some a few months ago, but it added a distinct "plastic" taste to anything I added it to, which I didn't care for. Maybe I added too much, I dunno. Haven't used it since and I can't remember how much I added after all this time.

Seems I screwed up on mixing wild strawberry. Was trying to make a creamy strawberry with capella vanilla custard v1 and inawera wild strawberry. I made the vanilla custard with my usual 12% and added the recommended 10 drops of wild strawberry per 10ml. The end result was a vape that was harsh on the throat, perfumy and the vapor actually burned my lips (Like getting red hots on them). I went on my diluting binge and got it down to a some what vapable state (About 3 drops per 10ml) and am just going to let it steep for a week or 2.

Does anyone know if the wild strawberry flavor intensifies or mellows after steeping?

If it was the newer concentrated version. I found it to be very dry. The original was much better.

This is the original. After dilution and 2 days of steeping it's starting to come into it's own and is now very vapable. Seems the harshness and the biting burn on the lips has gone away and it seems to have sweetened considerably. It's turning into a very enjoyable creamy vape with the vanilla custard base. I'll let it steep another week and see if it fades any more then it already has. But I will say it's perfect the way it is now.

I just got Inawera Cappucino yesterday; it smells amazing, almost exactly as I remember Kahlua. Anyone have a recipe using that one?

Thx!
Andria

I mix it at 4% and it makes a very pleasant miky coffee. I then add TA Virginia at 1 part TA to 3 parts cappucino. But then I'm on something of a TA jag at the moment.

Really, just 4%? I don't know anything about it, which is why I asked, but I was at the inawerashop site yesterday, and the only review of cappucino I could find said that when he first mixed it at 6%, it was bland, but at 10%, good strong flavor.

I was actually thinking of adding some Sweet Cream flavor, it reminds me so much of kahlua; and yeah, probably some of the VA TA too, but maybe not 25%. 5% maybe?

When I say 1 part TA to 3 parts Cap that's TA mixed to 4% as well. I just give a squirt of each bottle mixed at 4% into a tank.

Ah ok, gotcha. Maybe I'll just mix up a test 5ml at 4% and see how it strikes me, before I make it any stronger or add anything else.

Thx!

Does anyone have experience with the Shisha Tobacco Drop?

I mixed up a 10ml batch @ recommended 8 drops/10ml and not much taste at all, went to 10drops/10ml same thing so I went 15 drops/10ml and there is a taste there but I am not getting any tobacco, caramel coconut or fruit at all. Really can't describe the taste as it is almost non-existent.

Mixed it up @ 20 drops/10ml which is right around 4% and finally the taste is coming up, now for a steep.

UPDATE:

After a 4 hour hot water bath here's what I'm getting.
Very slight tobacco
Slight notes of Menthol and mint.

Menthol and mint isn't my bag so this 1 will either be sold or traded.

I am really liking this after a 4 hour hot water bath.

5 drops/10ml and I am getting a very dense but smooth almost a blend of pipe and cigar flavor with a hint of Turkish, (In your Face tobacco) with no nose burn, also a very slight back note of coconut.

Manufacturer states honey as a note which I don't taste, they also say that TA will bring up more tobacco flavor, imo TA is not needed.

10/10

And we will see how it progresses over time.
