I was holding it comfortably in my fingertips while inspecting.
I can show you otherwise.especially as mentioned, the top isn't being crushed, which, should be the first thing that would should it be a pressure thing.
I think it was aliens. Nothing else is making sense in explaining it. It must be like crop circles, or in this case, err, battery circles.
How can I do that?I would slowly discharge that until it reads below 0.2V on a meter before putting that in a recycling bin at the local store or the neighbors garbage bin.
It certainly wouldn't be going in my bin unless I discharged it myself.

How can I do that?
Would make a good You Tube vid.Third option if you have a backyard, a bucket of sand, asbestos gloves and some goggles is take it out back and just short it. Saves the trouble of dropping anything off in the Home Depot recycling bin as there won't be much left to toss in there. Granted, this is the most irresponsible of the choices, but that's about the extent of my electrical knowledge extends as I've never had to do that. Hopefully someone a lot smarter will post a simpler and safer alternative.
The mech mod I personally think it was dented on.How can I do that?
DO NOT!!!Just bring them to recycling...here we have boxes for that in every supermarket.
Tape will not prevent an internal short.Just bring that to recycling...here we have boxes for that in every supermarket. Mask the poles with some tape.
I truly dont own a mech lol.The mech mod I personally think it was dented on.
Build a coil over an ohm or two with way too many wraps to over heat.
Then rig the button up to fire continuously.
Place it somewhere fire proof.
In a cinder block on a concrete patio would be ideal.
Then clean the contacts on that mech mod so you don't have to mash the button anymore.
Of course, assuming you have a mech mod is just speculation.
But it would make a whole lot more sense than believing that was damaged in a battery sled.
That would have to be one stiff spring unless it was dropped.
Even then, that would have to be a very narrow spring to make an indent that shape and size.

lmaoPersonally I'd toss the battery, and I'd take a sledgehammer to that Chinesium grade P4Y D3 POS to make it safe....
...then get a good mod.
Obviously. If there were an internal short, the battery had already vented. Tape reliably prevents from an accidential external short.
Then there's something seriously wrong with either the handling of those cells... or more likely... that mod.I truly dont own a mech lol.
