Oh, I'm so glad you guys did that lol! I've been against the request to be polite from the beginning, I hold no tenderness for these bill authors at all whatsoever, so I'm glad to see someone created those posters speaking the truth. It's the truth that hurts not the person/people pointing the truth out. I'd like to see a poster quoting Yoder when he said he's not out to ruin the vaping industry from the very first hearing and then see a list of the actual results these bills would create across from his quote. The lying, from day one, has given me no desire to be polite.
I agree Pennysmalls. Be polite and be ignored. It would have been respectful for my reps to notify me that I was being gerrymandered into a distant district, but that didn't happen. The time for polite discussion on this is long passed. So when I write and I'm ticked off, they should know it. Being nice will only make it easy for them to ignore me.

I have called 317-232-9400 several times, they take a message and say they will forward my message over to my Senator who is Senator Head(Cass County Logansport). I wonder if they actually do. I know his Logansport office number (574) 737-8529, any opinions on if it would be a good idea to call there. Or would that not be a good idea to bother his business(lawyers office).

I also aggree, Yoder is down in the slimmy mud with his dirty fight, we might as well fight back down and dirty.

I write to our local paper(Pharos Tribune) public forum all the time, don't know if its possible, but I may just try writing a public forum to his local paper letting all his VOTERS know just what he is trying to do. I know the high points but don't know all his dirty little tricks. If any body knows can you add them.

Yoder represents District 12, can anyone tell me what town or towns are included. I found a map but it does not show towns/cities.

Everytime I've called the house or senate switchboard and said I oppose, I get a letter signed by my rep in the mail sometime later. They do forward them to the reps.

The CASAA call to action has you enter your address and then brings up the number of each of your reps' Indy office and gives talking points so it is more thorough than just opposing a specific hearing/reading.

Yep, biggest turn out yet. HB 1432 was sent back to second reading for amendments.

I'm wondering how, and if, the backlash from Indiana's decision to pass the Religious Freedom legislation will possibly affect the vaping legislation. People all over the country certainly think very low of Indiana lawmakers right now. It's sad to admit but I hope the backlash can be helpful to our cause. At least show that our legislators aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

vaping sure has led to much education for me as far as politics go and the sad thing is that I've yet to read about anything political that seems to be on the up and up or brought a smile to my face. I get the general gist of gerrymander from the little bit of reading I just did on it but to do away with it? It sounds like that would be an impossible battle and the party in power would, figuratively, fight to the death to protect it. Please don't tell me that legislation would have to be proposed in order to get rid of it!

*******MULTIPLE CALLS TO ACTION********
***Rally at the Statehouse at 1:30 pm EST Monday Mar 30th, Tuesday Mar 31st, and Thursday April 2nd***

Last week vapers from all around the state rallied at the Statehouse and we accomplished some great things!

Unfortunately we are not safe yet. HB 1432 was pulled back to second reading in the Senate so it can be amended....Show up and let senators know it must be amended! SB 539 is scheduled for hearing in committee in the House...Show up and let Representatives know vapers are NOT happy with effectively banning sales of liquid produced out of state, making production of liquid in state incredibly expensive (if not impossible), closing over 100 vape shops, and putting over 1000 vapers out of work.

Your presence has a greater impact than calls, letters, and emails. People visibly united in a cause has tremendous impact on these legislators. They have to see you as they go about their business. Vaping has made your life better and these legislators need to see the people they are affecting, the people who would be worse if these bills pass as they are.

You made your choice to vape. Now stand up for your choice! Show up. Put faces to the words in the bills. Be respectful and polite.

No, It would likely require a rebellion!

I agree, that watching the ecig hearings led me to listen to many topics that I wasn't even aware were being heard. Not that my Reps want me to know either.

From the pain, came the dream
From the dream, came the vision
From the vision, came the people
From the people, came the power
And from this From this Power... comes the Change

It got them to show up at a statehouse that had been empty for over 36 hours and wouldn't have anyone back in it for 2 days. Yet news media was there too because boycottindiana is the hottest hashtag.

Go to polls? Protest after the bill is signed into law? Why go and vote when you can show up afterwards, after hours and after being signed into law, and still get what you want?

The social media campaign against RFRA is genius, wish the group behind it was on our side too. There are tons of stupid laws passed every year, but this one really struck a nerve...

Some if our amendments were posted for HB 1432 on the senate floor.

We have a mad scramble going on to make a document of revised amendments based in what was posted.

Don't know if the bill will be called, called and amended, called and partially amended, have a reading passed until Thursday, or if it will go up for vote as is to pass onto 3rd reading. But, it's the first time any of our amendments have been posted in this entire process.

License requirements for out of state liquid producers, 3 10ml samples held securely for 3 years for every batch over 2 liters, tough security requirements, and DIY would still be illegal even if the posted amendments were added.
