I'm using dual spaced fused Claptons at 2.5mm ID
I tried thick (KGD) wick and hammered channels = no leak but dry hits
thinner wick and stuffed the channels with a sledgehammer = too stuffed, won't wick
pulled some wick out of the channels so it was looser = great hits, leaks a little during fill = good enough

I close the afc and seal it with a vape band while I fill, turn over until the air bubble is all at top, pull the afc ring/vape band off, flip and dab any drops out of the air holes with a vaper towel corner.
It sounds complicated but there's minimal leaking and none after the fill-time cleanup

it spatters a small puddle through the air holes over the course of a tank but that's different

That's how you have to do it or it won't keep up at high watts. It leaks slightly when filling but its barely any at all and not a big deal

Too late, lol. I bought one. Heck, they were cheap. I should have bought 2. Just a random thought here, but you know you have a shinyitis problem when you can't even remember how much vape mail you're waiting on.
Where did you order it from? Your gonna have some mail next week, my package should get there Monday.

I was reduced to buying it on eBay. None of my usual suspects had it in stock, or at all. Vapecrawler didn't list a US shipper. And I must've waited 30 seconds for somebody here to link me :) What the heck, top rated seller, sold 67 of them and under 18 bucks. It says authentic and the package looked like the one on Advken's website. And yeah, I've been watching the tracking on your package. The fresh battery wraps just got here today from Fat Daddy. :)

I had some 2.5mmX5mm grubs already on hand and changed out the crappy screws before doing my first build. Works quite well.
They are pretty bad aren't they? I don't know why they would use such crap on what is otherwise a nice atty.

I didn't have any issues with the screws in my mt rta. I see a lot of people have, maybe I'm lucky for once. I use Clapton wire so it's thicker then single stand but I've never had a coil leg break

I can see them working in Claptons. The way I actually got the resistance to settle down was to add a second 24ga Ti wire along with the 24ga coil itself in each of the 4 post holes and that finally settled it in. So with a Clapton it would serve the same purpose and just give more mass under the screw and more pressure I assume to hold it tight. You could get away with a not perfect connection to some degree in wattage mode, but using TC it is a horrible experience. Have you done any TC Claptons? I want to go there one of these days but I do like various twisting combinations in TC mode.

I haven't tried anything in temp control. I've yet to get some SS316L wire. I was going to get some SS 24g core and 28g outer Clapton wire today but the car wouldn't start this morning and the wife was at work already. The rx200 is my first TC device ever so I'm a noob when it comes to it.

My troll rda will chop thru single Clapton wire so I know what you guys are going thru. I have to be careful with how tight I get it or it will chomp right thru it. I tried single wire before and it broke 90% of the time, so I got into 26g parallel coils and it worked great.

Lol got a little too ambitious and started making fused clapton wire with 2x26 kanthal core and 38 gauge wrapped. Man that stuff is thin and my fine motor skills aren't the best. Straightened the core wires, got everything set in the chuck of the drill but got frustrated once I couldn't get a consistent pattern on my first try. No patience for it today I guess, premade claptons it is:p

I didn't see an ebay seller. Can you link me?
