Yeah I just stumbled on the thread for it, and then came across the El Diablo tank... Needless to say that el Diablo looks like a real BAMF!
I like the original Goblin mini,so i'll get a v2 to try out,but yeah,i seen that El Diablo the other day,and that will definitely be getting ordered here in the next few days.

I used to want to try them all, lol! But, the market is so oversaturated now, its just not possible, nor advisible. And my vaping style changed. I was pretty much a tootle puffer/mod whomper mix. Now I need more air. So I still like a single coil atty at lower power levels so long as I can breathe. I can't m2l anymore. It has to be at least a restricted lung hit.

I had a very nice collection of "high end" m2l RTAs that I hunted down one by one, looking for nice, used ones and sales. And I've sold most of them now. So that's another thing I do. I sell or trade stuff that no longer interests me and that's money I can buy gear with, too.

Man this sucks. The VDeck I was sent will not fire. My Sigelei 150W is just saying check atomizer everytime like there is nothing there. Hopefully its something im doing thought maybe I screwed the flathead grub screws in too tight maybe it cut the kanthal in the post hole but I find that very unlikely. There is no metal touching metal whatsoever. Another thing it could be is something screwed up with the metal pin and that peek insulator piece on the bottom. It is sort of flimsy on the left side of deck if you look at the pics.... Mutank VDeck_01.jpg Mutank VDeck_02.jpg Mutank VDeck_03.jpg the left post isnt one piece its two pieces sort of strange. I noticed when I took the deck out of the bubble mailer it had actually fallen out of the little black box it came in and was just moving about in the package(albeit still sealed in celaphane or whatever plastic). Possibly a sign of a bad things to come but hopefully not a DOA item. Unfortunately I vaped the prebuilt coils for 3-4 days before trying the VDeck, so if this thing really is defective I could send it back to where I got it (VapeNW) but would have to pay about 7 dollars out my own pocket to ship it. You only get 48 hours to let them know about DOA items evidently for them to cover shipping, so since I got it last Saturday, either I need to figure it out or just buy another one... Because it makes 0 sense for something that is 8.99 or whatever to begin with to pay 7 bucks to send it back for an 8.99 store credit.

On a positive note though the 4 Post Deck it originally came with is working pretty well. Besides the convenience of the 2 Post Velocity Deck saving time and possibly going slightly higher wattages because the post are better insulated, I dont see how there would be much difference between the 4 Post and 2 Post deck. Also get a little more room width rise with Velocity Deck. Hopefully I can get mine working if anyone has any suggestions who may also own the VDeck for the Mutank would appreciate it, think im SOL though and just buy another one for 8 bucks not that big of a deal.

Yea, stock deck is working great in the meantime at least. Virtually no leakage which I must say I am a bit surprised. Little misting but all my tanks do that. Mutank is ideal IMO for rayon and high VG. Vaping some 95 percent VG flavorah cinnamon crunch. Taste great, good clouds too at just 30 watts. Next build though instead of kanthal maybe use some stainless steel 430, or some Nife52 for temp control :)

Yea, no QC card came with the VDeck lol. I don't know for 8 bucks probably just buy another one even though it is some BS for sure. Maybe try to take the vdeck apart abit and put it back together using that bottom flathead pin screw...
With the v-deck installed try pushing down on the 510 pin with something to make sure its making contact with the vdeck rba head.

The 510 stainless steel pin is alright I think on the Mutank because I'm not having problems with the stock deck or the prebuilt coils. There is another pin on the actual vdeck it is a flathead pin or screw technically that needs to make contact with the ss mutank pin on the base of the tank. Might just be a matter of loosening or tightening the two pins to get it right to fire. As far as my sig 150 510 connection may be a little grimey from ejuice but has worked fine with the stock deck and prebuilt coils. I forgot i havent tried the vdeck on my xcube2 yet because I normally use the sig150 for coil prepping and such. But normally if a tank won't fire on the sig then most likely will get the same results with the xcube. However I should try it on the xcube because it's a newer box and I keep the 510 as well as the rest of the box squeaky clean...

Sound thinking. I don't have a Mutank. Can you post a pic of the base of the VDeck showing the screw and the slot in the Mutank base where it goes?
