Two questions. Can you show us the wick/tucked deck without the cap?

Also, some folks have reported wicking gaps in the channels after putting the oring on. When you put the glass and oring on all at once, it can pull the wick and displace it creating a gap.
Simple solution, I always put the Oring on before I wick. then once wicked I press the glass straight down onto the oring until its fully seated and then screw in the topcap and chimney. this way the wick ends are NOT disturbed during assembly.

Works great on both the MT and the MuTank.

I think this is my issue, I am going to put the o-ring on first next time I wick, then trim out and tuck the juice holes.

Thought I'd share this here

Story way too vague as usual!
I read it. No details. If I was a betting man-- unfortunately, betting is one of my vices-- I'd bet naked battery in pocket shorted with keys. Darwin, in other words. Thanks for the link.

Slow day in the old thread today. In any event, I think I have found the culprit on the RX "losing" the atomizer. Both of mine are doing it, and with different tanks. In general, it seems it doesn't like it screwed all the way down. I have found it works better if you'll run it down until it stops, then back off a 1/4 turn. It-- they-- will still drop one now and again, but much less often. The fix is, unscrew the tank till it no longer touches the center pin, then put it back down. So far, this has worked every time.

I knew about the grubs. In fact, I wore out-- well, used up-- my first set, and just got two more in. The same screws also fit Mutation drippers, which I thought was handy.
