I suppose this isn't a good time to say how rockin' my griff is right now!:( Sorry buddy! Why you gots to live Texas? Move back to S.D. & I'll get you up to speed in no time!:headbang:

Crowds, California politics, lack of water, cost of living...etc, etc. The thing I do miss about California is the mountains, ocean and weather.

And you put the channel dams in behind the air towers like in my photos?

Not on this build. It's just through the coils and into the channels.

Is it leaking Paul? Is that the issue?

Either leaking and working great, or not leaking and anemic.

I am tempted to say you should break the wicks straight down into the channel, then out through the gate. It looks to me like you have slanted them from the coils down and out the gate. But before I go there, let me break #3 apart and see what that rotten so-and-so looks like inside.

I struggled and struggled with wicking on this tank... Your wicking looks fine, but I would suggest using a toothpick to pull/push up the area of the wick coming out of the coils for the 1st 2 or 3 mm. Think big shoulders and don't worry about the cap pushing them back down a bit when you screw it on. Doing this is what finally did it for me. Its a great tank once you figure the wicking out.

That being said I still can't figure out Bellus wicking after trying for 4 months :grr:

Guys, I may have just learned something. I have been getting disgusted with #3 for weeks. I have finally wicked him so he doesn't leak, but last night his resistance got all wonky, varying from .3ish to over 5.5Ω for no reason I could see. So, being intrigued with the vertical coil set I saw the other day, I broke #2 out of storage and put one of those builds in-- pics later-- and was going to break #3 down even before I promised Paul. But when I had the side by side, I observed the o-ring that seals the top end of the AFC ring on #2 is conspicuously bigger than the one on #3. #3 has always had a sloppy AFC ring compared to #1, and I never could figure out why.

Paul, how's the AFC ring on your MT? Tight and stays where you put it, or loosey goosey?

Paul, your coils don't look like they span the air intake port. That's where your leaking is coming into play I bet.
Rassinfrakin' Varmint! Why didn't I see that? Yes, dammit, the coils have to bridge the air hole. If they don't the wick will drip into it.

You need a Ploom Boxx and a car battery.
Google Dr. Ploom + car battery.
Foul mouthed but hilarious.

I'll check it out, but I'm done :D I'll finish the little bit of juice left, but then I'm going back to my typical 65-70vg and under 100W.

I'm enjoying that my tank can do 200W, but I can't vape like this all the time :) I'll enjoy my last few minutes of glory though.
