Regarding the drip tip issue, I am personally fond of Pyrex rather than Delrin, and I have been using this one, a glass tip on a finned SS base. It's an off brand-- "private label" for the snooty among us-- and thus about half price of the Delrin part shown above. The hole in the base measures about a tenth of a millimeter smaller than the stock tip, but it seems to draw better (yes, I know how crazy that sounds, but it's true.) I am running mine at .3 Ohms and 40 watts and I am not getting a heat problem. All this FWIW; I definitely think it looks better-- at least on the SS version-- than a Delrin tip:

I have a couple from these guys. Love them. Delrin, and they are friction fit so there are no O'rings. This allows the inner bore to be slightly wider than normal tips that have to account for the O;rings. My favorite is the Cloudchaser XL.

Already posted the link.... And then someone reposted it after they bought two. Love the tips. Thinking about ordering a couple more for some of my other tanks...

Is that wick wrapped around the bottom inside of the tank?

Hmmmmmm. Mutation X..... Xmas..... Mere coincidence? I think not. Just ordered one for my brother for "X"mas. The power of x compels you!!!!
Funny you should say that. I am striving manfully to resist. But I'll probably weaken.

Sooooooooooo!!!!! There's a loophole that I've convinced myself of :)
We should all do a Yankee swap. We'll each buy a new MT and instead of actually giving it to one another, save on postage and keep it!!! @roxynoodle are you in?
Win/win???????

I usually give my Christmas bonus from work to my wife every year for Christmas! I'm still trying to figure out to explain how I need to use some of it for Reuleaux Dna 200 (with 6 batts. & a 4 bay charger)this year never mind buying another tank!

I do too,but i don't have to worry about trying to get anything out of it since my Christmas bonus is usually a $25 Walmart gift card haha.I work for a multi billion dollar company, and our bonus is a turkey for Thanksgiving and a gift card at Christmas haha.

I tried it and didn't care for it, I didn't like it in my rda either. For some reason I don't get the crazy good flavor everyone else brags about with it.

I just use the non bleached organic cotton balls in mine and the flavor is great.

I do have some native wicks cotton that I didn't care for in my rda that I'll try in the MX rta today. The wife is getting her tonsils taken out right now so I'm in the waiting room playing games on my phone. Ill try that stuff when we get home and she goes to sleep

How do you know when there is a dry hit? Is it like a dry hit of cotton?
Yeah, pretty close to the same. You'll still get that nasty burnt taste, main difference is with cotton, that burnt taste usually stays there, where with rayon,it goes away pretty quick.
Honestly though,i haven't gotten any dry hits from this tank yet,and i've had it a few weeks now using 80vg juice. Those channels are so big,it just keeps guzzling the juice in haha.
