I've found the same.I fell for all the hype when temp control first started gaining popularity,so i bout a mod with it,and tried my best to like it,tried several different builds, etc.,and never found that omg moment haha,so i don't even bother trying with it anymore.

Me either. And I have a lot of tc mods,, and I do the firmware upgrades. I think I might like SS better than kanthal, but it doesn't need tc. I like it a lot more than titanium.

It's so easy to get a good vape on an ugly lookin spaced ti coil... I like making perfect coils in kanthal and enjoying the benefits... Maybe I like the work it takes. The ti coil below vaped really well, but it didn't crackle and sizzle, it was the same vape from beginning to end. It was.... Boring... So I'm back to kanthal for the most part... I have 6 tanks and 4 rda and they all have claptons in them, and they all vape great!

I have that Bellus on my Renegade, which has tcr, but I guess I don't see what tc will add to my experience. I guess I'm not that big on tc :)
Nor am I. I was just wondering how it can be used in actuality in both power and TC accurately? TI and Nickel are only made for tc with set coefficients, kanthal is only for power, but why is SS used in both? Seems weird to me.

It does change resistance a small amount when heated. Kanthal changes so little though, current tc can't detect the change. I guess SS has just enough of a change that it can use properly calibrated tc. But, again the change is small enough that it vapes quite consistantly in power mode, too.

Yeah,i've ended up with several that have it,but only that first one was bought because of it,the rest have been bought because i liked the mod itself,at this point i could care less about them having it because i never use it haha.Perfect example is the Sigelei 150tc,i originally planned on getting the regular 150,but chose the tc version simply because it looks better.I have an Ipv 3 Li on the way,and could care less about the tc on that either,i was looking for a decent mod that is upgradable, and 200 watt capable, which is another option i will never use haha, but i like to have that option if i ever decide to vape on the wild side haha.

Lol or just what roxy said. She's smarter than I!!

I'm a math and physics nerd :)

I have a Sig 150 tc, too. I like how it looks and feels, but its only programmed for ni200, which I'm allergic to, so I'll never use the tc. I love the mod though.

Those are very helpful skills for vaping. I bet you can set up a mech without calling people for help.
Some of those mech's take a rocket scientist to figure out haha.I bought a 4nine mech when i went through my tube mod stage haha, and when i got it,i tried it and hated it.I had to push the button so hard i had to use two hands,1 to hold the mod and the other to push the button.I tried everything i could think of and it never got easier,so after a few days of messing with it,i gave up and put it in a drawer.About 3 months later,i seen a video on how to set it up,i had no clue there were 2 seperate magnets, mine were stuck together and looked like 1 piece. Those things work pretty good with a nice soft button when you have the magnets the right way haha.

All but one of my mods have tc...used them in tc mode for about a week and NEVER got as good a vape as I do on power mode. I tried a ton of different builds and settings, just did not like the "softness" to it. Not sure how to describe it. I am sure some of it was operator error, but I love building "perfect" coils with kanthal. Gonna go the SS route later this week (in power mode). See if I can tell the difference.

Anyone using their MT in single coil mode? I'm guessing there are better "single coil" RTAs, but given this is my only RTA, I figured I might try it out in single coil to save juice and battery. The dual 22gauge 7 wrap coil build is going through juice faster than a quad TFV4 coil (with better flavor and clouds) but if I can get the same flavor with 1 22 gauge 7 wrap coil and run half the power that would be fantastic.

Also, I know I have to rewick but I had zero liquid that was visible in the tank last night (assuming there was just the juice in the wick/chamber) and about 24 hours later there was a good bit of leaking on my mod - could this be an o-ring problem since there essentially wasn't even juice in the tank?

I have never tried it in single coil mode. I am of the opinion that it probably will work fine, but you will not get the same as a true single coil deck. I have tried setting up a few dual coil decks to single coil and never get the quality of vape I get with a true single coil deck. It will work but not at optimum level. Just my experience.
