Anyone using their MT in single coil mode? I'm guessing there are better "single coil" RTAs, but given this is my only RTA, I figured I might try it out in single coil to save juice and battery. The dual 22gauge 7 wrap coil build is going through juice faster than a quad TFV4 coil (with better flavor and clouds) but if I can get the same flavor with 1 22 gauge 7 wrap coil and run half the power that would be fantastic.

Also, I know I have to rewick but I had zero liquid that was visible in the tank last night (assuming there was just the juice in the wick/chamber) and about 24 hours later there was a good bit of leaking on my mod - could this be an o-ring problem since there essentially wasn't even juice in the tank?
I have not tried it, but mine came with a dam for the purpose of closing off two of the juice channels. FWIW, the best single coil RTA in my arsenal is a Lemo2. It rocks the house coiled about .5 running 17-23 watts. If you want more air, there's and excellent mod shown up above in this thread, and one to widen the juice channels too, for really thick juices or low builds that need a lot of flow.

I didn't like it single coil... It needs a bigger plug to take away the airspace in the chamber. The Bellus has a block that cuts off the wick wells and airflow while filling the cavity space... But honestly, I've never been happy with any dual coil tank setup as a single coil. The lemo mod above is mine... I used to run 2 2mm coils on the lemo with the airflow coming between them. It was a good vape...

Those are very helpful skills for vaping. I bet you can set up a mech without calling people for help.

If I ask for help im really stumped!! Lol. I'm pretty self sufficient, but sometimes we all need a little help!! If my MT comes apart at the press fit top again it's getting 3 small tig welded tacks..

Thanks ThunderD on the 316L...Every place I have gone is OUT OF STOCK on the 24 and 26...I'll find it someplace.
Eccigity looks like they have it, a bit more than I paid, but its in stock. Stainless Steel 316L Wire 30 Feet Roll
Origin vape looked like they had 1 roll of the 24g left.

I don't know how good this youde stuff is, but it seems to work fine for me.

Just something to think about, I was filling my mt tonight, and I noticed the unthreaded seam at the top of the chimney was a little more noticeable than usual... I finished filling, then placed one Palm on top of the tank, with the drip tip out, and my other hand on the bottom of my mod, and pressed. It made a click and I looked and the seam was barely noticeable again. The more I think of it, the dumber it seems for it to not be threaded... When you thread the top part on, it's naturally pulling on that seam, the o rings act like a spring pulling on the joint. Just keep it in mind, especially if you bump or knock over your mod...and check that seam often... Otherwise, it's a perfect tank...

Might consider the aromamizer, it's 6 ml. But I don't think it's any better than the mt
Yeah, that's a good suggestion, I've got the 6ml rdta, its capacity is nice for my commutes, and I used it pretty much all last week when driving for 8-9 hours a day. I just prefer the MT to the rdta, just my preference.
