Well I would say you all were right about it being the build. Just did a .37ohm build and at 35w its working just fine. Really strange cause the old build had no hot spots and looked good. Thank all of you for your help and sorry i went on so long about it. Yall are the best!!!

So I went to rewick my nickle build cuz after a week it started to taste a little funky! When I pulled it apart I saw the biggest blackest mesherschmidt I'd ever found on any of my builds! So because I don't ever dry burn nickel I had to rebuild completely. No big deal. Couldn't figure out why it was so funky until started to think about how much juice I had gone thru during the week and I realized that I had gone thru about 105Ml! Ok I know some of you guys are thinking "SO" but that's huge for me! I mean I'm used to my subtank mini! Which by the way I had to check the airflow on when I started using it while I was building. Thought the darn thing was closed off & it was wide open! Felt like I had gone back to my Aero on an ego twist! Wow this Mutation (with airflow only 25 % open)is a "BEAST"! But boy how I love this BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go thru twice that much juice in a week. Hopefully you make your own too because that adds up really fast

I really like my IPV4s it goes to .1 Ohm in power & .05 Ohm in TC. Decent battery life I get about a day on mine. @Jvincent516 how do you like your's?
I love my ipv4s it's a trooper I've dropped it a ton of times and it's still ticking lol. I barely ever go over 100w but it's nice to have the power. Plus my new black mutation tank looks sexy as all hell on it :hubba:

I've been looking into getting into diy juice because I love making my own coils and all that stuff, plus this tank sucks the juice down lol. I'm thinking about getting one of those starter kits for diy but I doubt I could make juice as good as one hit wonders muffin man haha love that stuff.
DIY juice starter kits?

Don't waste your time with a starter kit. Most of the time the vg and pg is so over priced and you don't need pg anyways. Flavoring is dirt cheap anyways

So it's a regular ole juice boiler huh...the juice that sits in the tank around the chamber getting super heated by your massive coil build gets all boiled out by the time it reaches your wicks. This is entirely avoided with the billow and aroma. The only reason I got back into tanks....or am I missing something.

It's no worse then the aromamizer. I go thru the same amount of juice in both of them

All the tanks before the Aroma and Billow were built the same way. The juice that sits in the tank around the coil chamber gets heated before it gets to the wicks. If you look at the juice you will see it darken over time. By the time it gets to the wicks it is boiled out and has a burnt darker flavor. That's the genius of the Aroma and the Billow. This is the reason they were designed. Get it?

I'm running a nickel build so it never really gets that hot. I could see were a regular Kanthal build might do that. The Aroma doesn't heat up too?

It does, but it's a chamber within a chamber...that's the trick. The tank juice is not laying directly on the chamber that houses the coils. The tank juice lays on the outer chamber. The chambers are all SS so they massively conduct the heat.
Look at the Bellus. The juice in the tank stays on top of the coil chamber. It's not wrapping around it like this atty.
