No trouble here with the chimney. I've dropped it three times from about 4'. I am a lot more careful now. This tank is a..... tank.
you got lucky! mine fell over and the chimney came apart a couple days ago. i'm also going to grainger tomorrow morning to grab the grub screws. anyone know if it matters if they are flat, cup, point etc?

Also, any good cloud builds using 24 or 26ga kanthal for a 50w box?

Better stuff on the way :)

Deck access without draining would be nice, but also making a one piece chimney or threading it would not affect performance, but increase durability. A press fit is ok for certain areas, but not a critical spot that basically holds the top half of the tank on. But for the price it's still a steal, it's the only tank I bought a second of, and I have most of the other tanks that are considered to be of equal performance. If it was 50 bucks and press fit Id be disappointed, but Id pay 35-40 for it if it was threaded. It made a mess, and explaining why I smelled like strawberry creme was kinda annoying. Lol

Deck access without draining, and a threaded chimney. Then you could mount a tall tank on it with an extended chimney for more fluid capacity. :) It doesn't bother me. I usually vape my MT in the car. In the car I have room to store a case containing a battery and a unicorn bottle. But I have noticed I am getting about two tankfuls per battery charge (Sony VTC4s, .32 ohms, 40 watts, SX Mini M) and it might be nice to have a 6ml extension for times when I might have it in my pocket without carrying around a refill bottle... Aside from that, I just love the little beast. Ok, I take it back: I love the little beast. Refilling the tank doesn't bother me, as I said, and mine hasn't broken yet. I commented above I might buy some tank bands, just in case. That would be a perfect time to order another one, you ask me :)

Query: Anybody like the Project Sub Ohm version better than the regular one? Worth the extra ten-spot?

I don't know if there is any difference between the normal and project sub ohm other then the markings on it.

I'd rather save the $10 and put it towards a new set of batteries. I've had my Samsung 25r batteries (4) of them for about a year and they are starting to act funky. Sometimes they take a while to charge and some times they die off pretty quick.

I tried to get in on a deal for those lg hg batteries that are 3000 mah but they sold out so fast, I was gonna get 4 of them for like $30 shipped

FWIW, RTDVapor has the LG HG2s-- the 20 amp, 3000 mAh battery-- for 6.98 and Orbtronic and Illumn both have them for $6.99. At 7 bucks each, that's $28 for 4 plus shipping...
