Alrighty! Thanks for taking the time to explain all that.
No prob. I remember making the switch from coil tanks to RBAs. I was worried at first myself. "What if I blow myself up?" I wondered-- back in the bad old days, if you wanted more than 15 watts, mechanicals were all there was. But after about the first month of nervously biting my fingernails every time I made a build, I got a good one-- in my old Fogger V4, it was; aaahhh, she still vapes as sweet as ever-- and then I was all like "Baby! Where have you been!" :)

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT buy THE MUTANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called another vender before this came in asking about coils and they said they had to send them back cause they taste like s&%$. That was after I had ordered this. Well the prebuilt coil taste like straight plastic. Happy I will be getting all of my money back out of this deal.

Too late, got mine today, haven't had a chance to play with yet. I only bought it for the rba anyway, could have just got the original MT RTA but thought I may as well get the latest one.

If you try the prebuilt coil let me know. I would have thought it was just a bad one if my vendor did not send all of theirs back.

Last newb question from me: Is it more likely to leak if it is on its side or tilted slightly? Or no if it is wicked properly? I think I'm going to switch exclusively to RTAs if I can leave it in my bag all day and not have to worry about it falling over and pouring everywhere.

Also the build is a 2.5 ID. I would have went with 3mm but since it was my first build I wanted to make sure that it would fit nicely in the chimney without shorting (although I see people fitting much, much bigger builds but that was the size screw driver I had so I need to go get a bigger one).
Once you get it cramed with enough wick it shouldn't leak at all! I leave mine on it's side on my mod all night and no problems at all. The only juice that gets out for me now is a little bit of spittle on my mod because it's "CHUCKING CLOUDS BABY"! When you think you have enough wick you're probably still a bit short with this one! My sub tank mini is real finickey about wicking too little it leaks too much dry hits! But this BEAST wants all the wick you can feed it! I usually stuff it with all but about 1/4" total length of a Ko Gen Do pad! Good luck and once you get enough wick in it stop worrying and enjoy the vape!

This is the correct method of wicking. I usually stop when I go oh man that's way WAY to much rayon. That's when it seems to work perfectly.

Lol, yeah, she likes a lot of wick. Start with about twice as much as you think you need. Then double it. Basically, if you're not using a 2 pound maul and a flat point punch to pack it in there, it's not too much. Especially rayon, which doesn't seem to choke off if too tight.

@DagMatt how's it going with you and the MT?

Great, thanks for asking! Still using my initial build. Last time I rewicked, I used a Scottish roll, and it's working well. No leaks ever, but I still can't seem to take it much over 42 watts without running the risk of a dry hit. I thought about it, and I think it may be because I tend to take long draws. I dunno. I'm at .37 ohms, so I should be able to take it higher, but oh well. End result, I keep it around 40 and everything works great. Nice clouds and good flavor. I'm actually thinking about finally branching out into temp control specifically for this tank, as I think it might help me out. Anyone using a SS build in this guy? If so, what specs?

Awesomeness! I am thinking about getting into SS because some people love it in power mode. I know @haleydadda uses titanium. @roxynoodle was starting to experiment with SS, but not sure what tank.
I've still got the SS build in mine, using it right now in temp limiting mode on the RX200, and its a lovely vape.
