Haha,i'm glad to see i'm not the only one falling for the tricks of these enablers haha.
I'm the same way,i don't care what others think of my choice of mod,if they aren't paying for it,then it's no concern to them haha.Like you,i don't go anywhere near the capability of most of my mods.In the past month i have picked up the 100 watt istick,a sigelei 150tc,and the Ipv 3 li,so 3 mods capable of 100 watts or more,and i don't vape much over 40 watts,also 2 of these have temp control that i don't use haha.Also,the day i got the ipv,i did the 200 watt upgrade as soon as i took it out of the box,but again,i will never vape anywhere near that high haha.I just like the battery life of dual battery mods,and the main reason for doing the ipv upgrade was simply to be able to say "Yeah,i have a 200 watt mod" haha.
Yeah,seeing them in pictures by themself,they look pretty big,but after seeing the pic that haleysdadda posted,that gives a better idea of the true size,which doesn't look bad at all.After i posted that last one,i picked up the ipv,and realized it is pretty wide,and the rx being the shape it is,should fit in the hand a bit better.At least that's the story i'll use to convince myself to get one haha.
You guys and this damn RX mod. I'm gonna have to order 6 batteries if I get that thing because I go thru at least 4 a day with my rda at 125 watts

Me, too, although I would've cheaped out on 3 if it hadn't been for the $5 shipping charge because I didn't want to spend more money
I'm a mech guy also. Always have been since retiring my MVP2. It wasn't until I got my D2 that I got kind of interested in regulated mods. That little sucker is a workhorse. The clouper mini, not so much and drains batteries faster. I have high hopes for the RX, not so much for the massive power as the highest I've vaped is at 60W, but for the longer battery life.
I have 6 HG2s, and for me, they last longer than any other battery I have. I've got VTC4's and 5's, a mess of 25R's, some AW 2200's, even a couple of Orbtronics SX30 button tops that I use strictly for my TMod. They are too high for any of my other mods, but perfect for the TMod and helps to shorten the button throw.
Anybody besides me have to turn this thing down in the morning? If I don't cut the watts back first thing, I choke myself to death for the first hour.
I don't persay, but I could see how one would do that. I woke up and hit my VCMT at 110w, and it was a bit much.

I took out my failed Ti attempt from yesterday last night and put a .17 22g build in there. Sitting on my Phenom right now and its oh so smooth.

I actually have been using a tc tank in the morning for the same reason
I tootle in the morning. Always my old Lemo with Virus. Its a good vape with coffee. A whopping 16.6W. I'll switch to the MT or something around my third cup of coffee.
In the morning I take about a half dozen big puffs while keeping the fire button depressed.
I wait about 10-20 seconds and the next hit is vape-able.
Same with my Crown tanks.
