Iam technologically ......ed. Everytime I try to post a pic off my phone it says file is too large.......
I use Tapatalk and take the pic from the app and it works every time for me. I don't use any photo hosting sites, its a pain to do all that on my phone

The arthritis in my back is killing me today, I was going to go get a mutank at the shop but I'm couch bound today.

My rx200 and LG hg2's should be here Thursday and if all is good with that mod I'm gonna order another one on Friday. That way I can have my troll rda and mutank on their own mod. I'm starting to hate switching them around.

I'm excited to try the mutank with the pre built coil to see what kind of Vape I get from it. I can always build on it if I don't like it but its nice knowing I can pop a coil in it whenever I want too.

My troll is literally begging for more wattage. I can't wait to put it on the rx200 and hit it with some real wattage. 125 watts isn't enough for me with these Clapton coils, I'm guessing 160-175 should do the trick

Sorry to hear about your back Bman! Hope it feels better soon! You don't have any restrictions on how much you can lift do you? Because the RX is a beast in a good way! It still amazes me how much performance I get out of my rig for less than $100! And with the alien clapton build in my mt I'm chucking clouds of flavor!

Are you getting surgery soon B?
I honestly have no clue what's going on. I went to the Dr to get a referral for a second opinion. I've done therapy, steroid epidural injections, therapy, a discogram and now I have to get facet injections. The facet injections are supposed to help with arthritis pain but I still have 3 herniated discs at my l4-l5-S1. I had a micro laminectomy 5 years ago and I re herniated that disc this year.

It's just a big run around trying to figure out what's going on. I applied for disability but I know that will get rejected at first.

They wanted to fuse my back a couple months ago but then they wanted to do the discogram. The discogram showed it didn't need fused. That's why I'm getting a second opinion because that Dr was ready to cut me open and didn't even need too

Yea they are some flavor producers, I wanna try fused claptons soon, I made some a couple months ago but I'll probably end up buying some out of convenience
I'm sure it's a hell of a lot cheaper to make them then buying the spool already made. I got some new wire cutters in today and these are awesome. They were just under $5 on amazon

It says it will cut 16g and I believe it, it cut my Clapton wire like it was nothing

Making them isn't too difficult, a lil tedious maybe, a lil time consuming, so the real question is "is the juice worth the squeeze?" Is making them myself gonna save me THAT much, not that iam anyone special but my time is important to me and it's soooo much easier to click the mouse a few times :D

I'm currently disabled so I have nothing but time. How much wire does it take to make the fused Clapton wire? I'm thinking about doing it. You get what a 15ft spool pre made for $9 plus shipping, I know kanthal on amazon is like $6 per 100 ft

It takes more of whatever higher gauge wire u are gonna use, I made a few feet of fused clapton with around 10+ feet of 38 gauge

Maybe it was closer to 15 ft

I made several posts on this thread about my wicking problems with this tank. (Single coil user.)

I do TC builds and was getting partial dry hits which is totally bizarre for TC and should have been my first clue.

Problem:

I am wrong handed and wrong headed. I was wrapping and mounting the coil so that the lower leg was mounted to the negative post and partially obstructed that juice channel.

Solution:

Wrap the opposite direction so that the coil can be mounted so that the upper coil leg goes into to the negative post. No more channel restriction! I wicked it the same way I had tried a dozen times before and it is working through 3 tanks so far.

Should have posted a pic and it would the problem would have been obvious. I am posting this to maybe help someone else who is completely new to this type of build deck.

My apologies in that this tank is now tootle puffer approved in single coil mode and I may invite other tootle puffers to join the thread ;)
(I like slow, hot, dense MTL so maybe not exactly a tootle puffer.)

This tank is great and worth the effort to figure it out for a slow person like me!

Thanks for the guidance.

I've still got that one on my list. Maybe I just don't understand the whole su ohm thing but I did a dual coil on the Calix and was just like SOB this is insane. Running it on my Provari P3 Ti. Any way, I couldn't seam to get it to the warmth I liked. Maybe if I had tinkered with it some more but it just blew me away.

The Calix doesn't have good enough airflow for duals. Something like the MT won't get hot, but its a whole different ballgame. You might like an Aqua v2 for duals.

a simple clapton is about 4:1 (28/32), so a fused clapton would be something like 5 or 6:2.

Just when I didn't think the flavor could get any better from this tank, I bought some alien coils made by M.Terk at a local store (VV Vapes). WOW!! The flavor and vapor production....and the popping takes some getting used to. I literally am having trouble moving back to my Crown when I need to because it just does not compare. I'm tempted to shelf the crown for good, but I'm concerned with having an RTA all day when I can't service it if I have to at work (or having it leak if it falls on its side although it hasn't leaked yet). Thinking I'll get a Serpent as a back up and so I don't go through liquid so quickly.

She could use a aromamizer, that would work fine with a dual coil at low watts and it shouldn't get hot either
