@suprtrkr, you can switch it back. They have three themes. I'm rocking the dark(black) right now!

@suprtrkr, do you have a D4 and an I4?
Charger? I have a D4 but not an I4. I also have an Xtar VC4, and Xtar MC1 mini charger for use on the road, an Efest SODA 2-bay and some off brand 2-bay over at my woman's house I bought on an emergency basis from some no-name vape shop up in Dallas when I was stuck without a decent charger. Since then I have moved the VC4 to her house and I carry the MC1 around anyway :)

Yeah. I have an I4 at work and was thinking about grabbing a D4 for the house. Hoping for a comparison.

AFAIK, the only difference is the digital screen on the D4 vs the LED indicators on the I4. I bought the D4 because it charges faster than my Xtar VC4, 750mAh vs 500mAh (with 2 batteries; if you put in a third, all slots drop to 375 mAh). I actually like the screen better on the Xtar, but I don't like the fact it's fed with DC low voltage and needs a wall wart to function. The D4 plugs directly into the wall socket and has stepdown and conversion on board. I think the Xtar is a slightly better charger-- not that I have ever had any problems with the Nitecore part-- and gives better battery data, if you can tolerate the slower charge rate. If I had to buy another one, I'd buy a another D4. I would like to have a Luc V6, but I won't buy from Efest after what they did to @Mooch

Ah! One other caveat: the D4 does not accept native 22650 batteries, if this matters to you. They'll fit, and charge, but the slots aren't wide enough to put them all the way in and they kill the slot next door unless you put in the 18 or 14 or 10 series battery first. The VC4 has two wide slots on the outer edges-- the 1a slots-- to accept 22 series batteries at full depth.

Thanks brother! Thought it was just the screen. Yeah I dig the I4 even though it does seem slow.
Any time. And thanks for the heads up about the forum styles. I got it switched back to the old style now and it doesn't bother my very old bones the way it did when I logged in today :)

Oh! The I4 must be the same.
I'm sure it is. As I say, I use my D4 to charge my 22650s. It is really not a handicap because I like to only charge two batteries at a time anyway to keep the charge rate up, a thing that will have to change when I get a RX200. Perhaps I need another charger, too, lol. But I just put the 22 in the second or third slot, and the other battery in the far end one. No probs, it works just fine.

Yeah, the i4 can do 2 26650s, but only those and not 4 batts at once. These days I have two i4s going. Really nice that way with the rx200, and now the Stout coming. While one of those suck up one charger, I have another. And you can buy two i4s for the cost of the Efest 6 bay. I've had that first i4 for 1.5 years now and very heavy use.
