Yeah, I definitely like the N6, I've had it since last January, but I dropped it all the time, and didn't have a case on it. After about the 10th drop or so the screen cracked slightly. Then after the 20th drop or so it cracked fully, and broke the LCD panel all together.

I have a case and tempered glass screen protector coming from Amazon so hopefully that will help keep this one in tact.
The n6 is the ....!!! I actually just got my replacement like a couple days before Christmas. Had to go through Motorola cause asurion (Verizon's insurance company) couldn't do it being its discontinued. I just laughed at the lady when she told me they would send me an s6 lmao

Received the v-deck today, I really like it but c'mon indulgence, flat head grub screws?!?! Threw a 7 wrap, 3mm ID dual Clapton build in and it fits nicely. Still using the other deck at the moment though.

Actually if you think about it the flat head grubs are much better! You will never have to worry about them stripping... I have a freak show mini, derringer, and also put grubs on my mt-rta and all of them with the hex pattern have stripped... I was actually trying to find flathead for my mt-rta the other day

can anybody help me with this... i currently have a .22 ohm dual 8 wrap 26g @ 75w in the mt and I can only take a hit for maybe 2-3 seconds (not really sure) but they are short drags and the taste is almost burnt cotton...
Is that kanthal? Dual 8 wrap 26g kanthal usually comes out to around .4ohm for me, depending on the ID.

It's nichrome... This has actually happened with all the builds I have done. And tank doesn't leak one bit either. What would be the best way to wick for the best flow?

That still seems low for nichrome too, I would double check its not shorting.

That also may be too many watts for a 8 wrap 26g dual coil, not sure, because for n80 steam engine is saying you'd need 4 wraps for .22ohm, which the heat flux was really high at 75w,
567 mW/mm.

As far as wicking goes, fat coils, with thinned out cotton seems to work for me. Rayon works well for others.

I need to refill so now may be the best time to take it apart, rewick, confirm it is the build I mentioned hahaha, and check for a short. How can I tell if there's a short?

Make sure its not touching anything, the chimney, the post blocks, or leads.

Check the build without the chimney on it. Screw on the chimney and see if it doesn't drop considerably. That would indicate a coil is touching. I had that issue when I built using big coils. It didn't look like anything was touching, but my ohms went from .31 to .18. I just had to adjust one coil that was a little too far from the post.

Ok, just checked and its definitely NOT an 8 wrap. More like a 10 or 12 wrap bahahahaha

Looks like from the pics its a 8 wrap parallel build, so that makes more sense on the low resistance. It shouldn't vary like that with the chimney on or off though, probably shorting against the barrel. I'd rebuild that thing, and try again, or try repositioning the coils so they fit without shorting against the chimney if you can.

you pinged it, Dan. That's a parallel build, looks like. I should have seen that myself. That would explain the low resistance. But yes, I think it's grounding somewhere. I'd rebuild.

It is indeed parallel coils. I am tired AF and think I've done too many builds for my own good lately hahaha I just did a 7 wrap dual 2.5iD Clapton 26/32 and I just want to make sure they fit

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried a set of flat ....... coils in these yet?
Not yet,but i will be today.I just got my wire shots from 101,i got the regular clapton wire and the alien wire which is flat wrapped in a clapton, and that's what i'll be trying in the mt.
