I've been getting most of my batteries from R-Isales in Utah for the past year, and find them hard to beat. Just ordered another pair of HG2s.

Those do look real, I must say. Still, buying batteries on eBay scares me. Oddly enough, I just ordered a pair of battery boxes from the same dude to house my married triples of HG2s I just bought from Orbtronic.

They've been around for awhile, 200k ratings. I get all my LGs and Samsungs from them. Not one problem or suspect battery yet.

Yah? It has to be, I suppose, that there's at least one hones battery seller on eBay. Actually, that's unfair. I suspect most of the counterfeits sold there are done unknowingly. They were bought by somebody who doesn't know much about batteries and resold just as they were bought. I have considered buying some of them in bulk and reselling myself. I don't want to get into the flashlight business, but it's always good for vapers to have an honest source which I would strive to be. Still, how do you buy them? Yes, you can order them on Alibaba, and at prices where you could make a (small) profit at US retail prices. I am sure that's exactly what those eBay sellers are doing. But how can you know your contractor in China is honest? I surely don't need $1000 worth of counterfeits I can't sell or return :)

I only saw preliminary reports and havent looked since but was there ever any new info on the hg2? The prelims were saying it didnt like being stressed at all beyond its rated 20 amp and in some cases didnt have a true 3k mah. For those of you that have them, how would you compare real life usage to the 25r5's?
My DNA200 Battery Analyzer results came in at 29.14 WH for a set of 3 of them on my Reuleaux. I think my HE4's came in around 27. They are working fine for me. My usual wattage rarely goes over 60W with a preheat of 120W so not much stress on these.

Part 2:

It didn't flood after 15 minutes, so I closed the air flow and opened the top to fill it all the way. Then it flooded, 5 or 6 big bubbles came up. I filled it, inverted for the last bit of the cap, then righted it and opened the air flow. There was juice in the air holes, but not enough to flood out the top of the mod, just in the air holes. I wrapped it in a paper towel and blew it clear. No flooding since, even filled all the way. I am probably short a bit of wick, but not much. And I turned the SX up to max and it was wicking enough to prevent dry hits. Photo of the new juice dams on the deck attached. I forgot to pic the new wick tails, but I described them in the last post.

I also seem to get most of my leaking right after filling the tank. A little misting while using it afterwards. I just need to find that sweet spot with rayon. I even tried a mix of rayon and Pima Cotton and really packed the crap out of it and it didn't leak, but it was a little starved so still trying.

Thanks. I'll probably have to stay with 25r's then. When going to the vape shops juice testing I play with wattages to see if a juice better at tank wattages or dripper wattages.

I've got vapemail coming too, but I don't think anything will arrive today :)

Haha it's one of my favorite feelings these days...sad I know. Been trying to watch for mfs to list more of the lucv4 so I can grab 2 more of those at $17 a piece. That way we both have 2 chargers for the many batts.

Was thinking about just doing the blu6 but the slow charge limit for 6 at a time is a bit of a turn off for me.

I personally don't care to buy efest chargers, but I don't care if you do. I'll just stick with my Nitecores and Xtars. I only have (I think) 5 battery chargers. 3 x 4 bay, 2 x 2 bay, and a 1 slot Xtar MC1 for travelling. :)

I know a lot of people are down on efest. They consistently overrate their batteries and it's a big issue. However, I have the blu6 and have not had any issues. I have not used my Xtar 2bay since I got the blu6.

Nope, sure haven't. I'd imagine it would take awhile as I believe it limits charging to .5A when using all 6 bays. I generally only charge 3 at a time at 1A.
Understood, thats why I'm really thinking about just ordering 2 more luc v4 so I have 16 going at 1amp if needed . Wonder if they'll revamp the v2/4 to have the bt app at some point. Rtd has em for $23 a piece which still isnt a bad price so if mfs doesnt have more by the end of the week I'll grab em from rtd along with some more 25r. Unless he happens to relist the vtc4 combo pack between now and then:).
