How would you count them? Did i twist them to tight? Maybe i am too old and can't see anymore lol.Sorry for jumping in on this, but they were very good questions.
I have a hard time counting wraps etc etc too. I have never really gotten into the science of coil building and all of the scientific details. I try to avoid doing math whenever possible.Well, I have to use a lighted magnifier myselfYou can count either hills or valleys, it doesn't matter. I use hills, but that's me. Lay the twist on top of the ruler, and line the center of either a hill or a valley on the 0 mark. Then count ten more (hills or valleys, whatever you chose to 0) and read the ruler under where the 10th one lays.
I have been making my twisted wires by just twisting by hand until either the side that's in an eye loop or the side that is wrapped on a pens clip breaksHow would you count them? Right. I work at a custom cable manufacturing facility and sometimes I have to use an eye loop for small gauge to figure out the twists per inch. Thank Christ it's usually with 26g and larger.Well, I have to use a lighted magnifier myselfYou can count either hills or valleys, it doesn't matter. I use hills, but that's me. yup. Search me why. Loose screw, maybe. But she seems to work ok in wattage mode. Can't get it above 40 watts without burning, but it's coiled 28ga parallels-- I matched it to the Advken tank for a side-by-side-- so that's no surprise.Just TC mode?
Send that possesed thing to @roxynoodle quick!yup. Search me why. Loose screw, maybe. But she seems to work ok in wattage mode. Can't get it above 40 watts without burning, but it's coiled 28ga parallels-- I matched it to the Advken tank for a side-by-side-- so that's no surprise.
RX200 has a terrible 510, might try cleaning that and making sure the spring loaded 510 pin still has some play, and can move up and down. Mine acts up occasionally, usually a cotton swap and some alcohol, then moving the 510 pin up and down clears it up for a bit.I have to rebuild MT#3 sometime, if I don't send it to Roxy to throw in the parts box to keep Satan company. It's resistance is fluctuating and messing up RX#2's TC. I was thinking about stainless twists, but I have some alien shots left. Maybe I'll go that route.
Cuz according to you he moved in awhile ago! LOL!Why does everyone think the Devil should live at my house?
S'what I thoughtOdd.

You invited him in with your heathen, big coil, big airflow waysWell...he was sent here![]()
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You invited him in with your heathen, big coil, big airflow ways
He should have sent it to Hell.I think Marc bought Satan before I had an MT. He just didn't want the Devil in his house![]()
