How would you count them? Did i twist them to tight? Maybe i am too old and can't see anymore lol.Sorry for jumping in on this, but they were very good questions.

Well, I have to use a lighted magnifier myself :) You can count either hills or valleys, it doesn't matter. I use hills, but that's me. Lay the twist on top of the ruler, and line the center of either a hill or a valley on the 0 mark. Then count ten more (hills or valleys, whatever you chose to 0) and read the ruler under where the 10th one lays.

I have a hard time counting wraps etc etc too. I have never really gotten into the science of coil building and all of the scientific details. I try to avoid doing math whenever possible.

I have been making my twisted wires by just twisting by hand until either the side that's in an eye loop or the side that is wrapped on a pens clip breaks

Right. I work at a custom cable manufacturing facility and sometimes I have to use an eye loop for small gauge to figure out the twists per inch. Thank Christ it's usually with 26g and larger.

Ok so I got my Fused Clapton shots from 101 Vapes Friday! Built a dual coil 7 wrap 2.5 ID set and OMG I'm in love! Way better than the alien wire ever could be! The ramp up time with the Aliens was just too much even with a 4 wrap build I think because of the mass of the wire! Mostly because of the flat wire core! The Fused is a double 28g core with a 32g wrap and this stuff performs great! Big flavor, decent clouds, & way easier to build with! My biggest problem now is trying to decide witch Atty I'm gonna choose! The MT with the Fused Claptons, or the TFV4 with the dual Ti prebuilt! I finally got the Clapton rba for the TFV4 & I can't wait to throw a Fused build in it to see how it rocks!:headbang:

I have to rebuild MT#3 sometime, if I don't send it to Roxy to throw in the parts box to keep Satan company. It's resistance is fluctuating and messing up RX#2's TC. I was thinking about stainless twists, but I have some alien shots left. Maybe I'll go that route.

Just TC mode?
yup. Search me why. Loose screw, maybe. But she seems to work ok in wattage mode. Can't get it above 40 watts without burning, but it's coiled 28ga parallels-- I matched it to the Advken tank for a side-by-side-- so that's no surprise.

RX200 has a terrible 510, might try cleaning that and making sure the spring loaded 510 pin still has some play, and can move up and down. Mine acts up occasionally, usually a cotton swap and some alcohol, then moving the 510 pin up and down clears it up for a bit.
