With great excitement I took delivery of my indulgence today. But there seems to be a problem. Once essembled the unit is permentantly on. I've tested with a multimeter and there is a constant connection between the centre pin on top of the switch unit and the outer part. So somehow current is flowing through regardless of the switch being on or not.

Can anyone think of something I've put together wrongly, I can't imagine so, due to the tests.

I cannot think how you could get it wrong -----

insert fully charged batty into the battery cup

screw batty cup onto bottom threads of button section

attach atty of choice to correct thread cap

attach thread cap to top threads of button section

add juice,

press button and inhale ------- release button and enjoy,

then exhale, -----

repeat last 3 again again again :)

if this is not working still, -----
