Infinity

I received an infinity today from a member here after my mom and sister got one, and it was vaping like a champ all day till right before im about to go to bed and i hit it one last time, and then something happens...my atty is firing without the button being held down...i hurried up and unscrewed it because it was getting HOT, hit the button a couple times and it lit up then went off, screwed it back on and it is still happening...am i the only one this has happened to? and what can i do to fix it? ill check back in the morning and hopefully i have an answer...i will be devestated if i have to send this in!

I'm sorry you're having problems Daniel. Buzzkill may check the forums sometime tonight and be able to help you out. Do you only have 1 set of batteries? Do you have a different atty or carto to try?

You need to Email, PM, or chat Buzzkill like Bovinia said. It happened before so it does have a solution. Sorry, I wonder if it's a pre-existing condition.

I tried a different set of batteries and put a carto on it instead of the atty and it still did it...im so blah right now

thanks for the concern rosco..im not sure. i pm'd the member i got it from and still waiting to hear back. i know they are mighty. my sister has had hers for prolly a month now and it seems fine.. my mom has had hers for a good while too and no problems...it sucks cuz i got my map tank in the mail today and cant use it on the infinity now lol

Something smells of fish.....Surely whomever you bought it from had NO ISSUES....

My experience indicates either juice has leaked into the tube or the switch is faulty...You're gonna have too talk with Buzzkiller to rectify the situation....NotCigs customer service is second too none...A good thing when you need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I though it was a tuna smell too. I also agree with your juice in the switch idea.

yea the previous owner prolly just got rid of it when something happened, but theres no way to know..thats the risk i took in being stubborn and wanting an infinity NOW instead of in 2 weeks. it did vape all day with no problems so im lost..i pm'd buzzkill on here, and sent an email through the website, so now i have to just wait patiently..

I now have to pay $35 to get it fixed....im not a happy infinity owner anymore I know it's not much but I still did pay $100 for it. I was thinking maybe buzz would give me a break on me not buying it from him since I talked my mom and my sister into buying one. It's all good though, lesson learned

im not unhappy with buzz, just thought he could see that i have been promoting his pv and hook me up one time..im not sure what im going to do anymore...i found out the map tank doesnt fit on the infinity so theres more money i have to spend to get an adapter...i might just sell this infinity and get a 5v mod since thats where i tend to vape anyways...i have owned 2 rivas and a sliver bullet and never had 1 problem with them

Surprising you haven't had Riva problems, I just lost another battery yesterday, which would make 3 bad in about 2-1/2 months. (I also had battery issues in 808 land, though vendors made good.) Good on one vape, just plain dead 20 seconds later when I wanted to take another puff.

Many of us promote the Buzz/Infinity without any expectations that "Buzzkill" will cut us some slack some how. I do because I love the product and believe in its value.
Heck, it's a business and if he isn't making anything, we won't be getting any decent PV's. We all are at the mercy of the quality of products. I've worked with electronics as an Amatuer Radio operator for 30 years and pcb's as well as everything else can just plain be bad. It only takes a bad solder joint to screw things up.
I'm sorry you aren't happy, but I don't feel it is Mikes fault at all. If selling your Infinity will make you feel better, then perhaps that would be best.
I wish you luck with whatever you decide to do.
