Just a heads up to let everyone know that might not know but hopefully this will prevent some unnecessary confusion.

Soon after getting my Super Six with 901 adapter I knew I had to get the 801 as well and have had it for about a week. I have been using since it came in with the Joye 302 low bridge atty which is their version of the DSE801. When using the other brands and since the threads are slightly different they do not screw down as far as the DSE and you just switch to the bigger ORing as supplied.

However there is a new DSE801 that some suppliers are getting and is what I got unknowlingly that cane beidentified by having a low bridge instead of the high. The Super T is very precisely machined to fit the original no problem and others as mentioned above but because of this precision it does not have the variance that other less quality products on the market have to accept this new DSE's slightly different thread and the threads do not match up unless you press ridiculously hard and then it only catches to make about a 1/4 turn.

So I just wanted to give a heads up if you are ordering DSE891's make sure your getting the 1st Original High Bridge versions or you will not be anle to use them with the Super Six.

I had a similar epiphany with my Super-T1 (the original offering from Super-T). I use BE112 atomizers and they did not seal correctly on the 801 adjustable airflow adapter with the standard o-ring. Using a slightly thicker o-ring created the airtight gap that was needed to use this atomizer on the 801 adapter.

It would be difficult for any manufacturer to anticipate small differences between similar type atomizers and make a device capable of accepting all of them. You could go with a traveling center consductor, but you run into the problem seen with some GG devices where liquid can seep into the battery compartment.

I sent my 801 adjustable airflow adapter to David for modification so I can use it exclusively with the BE112. Turnaround was quick and the new adapter is just peachy.

I'm also using the larger supplied O-ring which seals tight around the Joye 302, Janty KB and the BE112 with no specific adjustments necessary.

Have you guys noticed that the atomizer gets hotter, and thus the vapor warmer, as the draw is tightened via the adjustment? I find that I get nearly as good a TH through the adjusted 801 as I do with a 510 but without the flavor loss of the 510. Win-win.

I just want to make sure you guys got my point cause sometimes I over explain myself and the point I wanted to make gets lost in the post.

Bottomline is - The New Low Bridge SLB DSE801 threads will not go on the Super T 801 adapter unlike the other NON SLB DSE models- Make sure to verify this before you order your next batch.

Richie I do agree with you about the Super T adj. Adapter and that might be what happens cause it is definitely an overall much better vape than on a standard mod.

My fault, D. Didn't mean to derail your thread and obscure the point you made. Thanks for bringing this to the table.

FWIW, even though the SLB DSE's (high or low bridge) are the original "801s" and why we refer to other pen styles attys to be compatible with "801s" , I find them to be the worst quality. Joye 302s, Janty KBs, BE112s and when they work depending on the mod/battery the M201s are all superior, IMHO. If they didn't leak so much, I'd even take the RN4072 before the SLB DSEs.

So far the Joye 302's have been dying way too quick. I've been vaping high volt for a while now using CR123's and have never gone thru so many attys in 1 weeks time as I have with the CR2's. If its not the batteries than its the 302 and I want to get some Be112's for sure as I hear they last way longer.

The S6 801 adapter's atomizers threads were fitted to the 801 atomizers i get from Heavens gifts. Now, you'd like to believe all 9 x .75 threads are created equal, but as it turns out, Chinese manufacturers do not all agree on the same major diameter of their threads. Is it just poor quality control or is it purposeful? I don't know the answer to this.

The atomizer threads on the s6 are made with a single point. When i made them in house, i made them with a round die and round die holder that chucks in the lathe tailstock. It was producing looser threads then these single pointed ones.

If you want, i can run this die over your threads, it will loosen them and should allow the use of most all atomizers, though obviously, some of your atomizers will be looser.
