INFO: Wanted to ask in Veterans =/ .. I just Ordered...

This SmokTek EGO 1000 Cartomizer Kit I have tried to read everywhere about this one. Copied and pasted below here from website for you to see what I mean.
Compatibility Note: This eGo kit works with other 510 threaded atomizers and cartomizers. If you started with a slim 510, you're in luck!
510 to 901 adapters are available if you want to use KR808 cartos on your eGo.
If you are using the new clear dual coil cartomizers, you can get your kit with "special oversized cones". They are available seperately, look in accessories.
Does this mean I can add things that COULD go on a 510 batt to this one too? And it will fit?...And I feel like I am a kid in a candy store but I don't want to spend way to much on everything and then be stuck with something I do not like. I ordered this today and the man that owned the store answered was very nice answered the few questions I had at the time cause they had a few hour sale at his online store. And I have been using pre-filled cartos and I wanna try the e juice everyone is talking about and this Ego looked really nice and at a great price this morning so thought why not try it. So any input? I also ordered a e juice,2 drip tips and also 1 pk of the clear duel coil cartlomizers cause it did say it would fit it. However they where out of the oversized cones =( so have to either wait or get from somewhere else I guessing.Thank you guys =D

Since it is 510 threaded, you can use any 510 accessory.

Any 510-threaded atty/cartomizer will fit. AND....you can use the dual coil cartomizers without a cone. The oversized cone will fit (and the smaller ones won't) but many people (me, included) just pop a cartomizer on the eGo battery and forget about the cone. The cone is pretty much cosmetic, anyway....so it's not critical that you even get an oversized cone. I'd save my money and spend it on some delicious new juice instead.....

Welcome to ECF and congrats.
Good starter kit- 1000 mah batteries give you about 10 hr vaping time before recharge. Recharge when they're down to 25%- they'll last longer. Also good you ordered manual batts- greater control over the vaping experience and less chance of damage from juice.

Should be fine. It's okay to vape them until they flash, signifying needs-a-charge. They have built in protection circuitry, so you won't actually over drain the battery.

JC - quick question ... I was thinking of getting an oversized cone also because when I use a clearomizer and drip tip, I feel like a lot is sort of "hanging in the breeze" and I may damage something. Wouldn't the cone make bumps and bends less likely?

The oversized cones are 1mm larger in diameter. Clear cartos are slightly larger in diameter bc of the clear plastic the tube is made out of. Like others said you dont necessarily need the cone. But for clear cartos though, I think its better to use the cone. Without the cone a clear carto is more likely to crack and come apart where the threads are. The cone will help stabalize the carto so it is less likely to bend and crack.
Personally I dont like the clear cartos, or dual coils. While it is nice that you can see inside of them so you can make sure they are filled fully, especially when your just starting out, but I also feel the clear ones are alot more likely to break or crack and leak. Metal cartos can take abuse much better and can be used without the cone without breaking.
As for dual coils, some are nice, but I hate how they drain your batteries so quickly. Also they burn thru juice a lot quicker than a single coil. Id get some regular cartos too to help you learn on. Boge 2.0ohm or 3.0ohm cartos are very popular on an eGo and work well. They will also be more forgiving if you do something wrong. Make sure you keep the dual coils wet. Its easy to singe the wick if they get too dry. Also be careful using real low ohm cartos on an eGo. What ohm dual coils did you order? 1.5ohm cartos can potentially fry an eGo so be careful. Especially when your just starting out, I wouldnt use anything lower than 2.0ohm cartos. User error is much more likely to kill your eGo using 1.5ohm cartos compared to 2.0ohm cartos.

Thanks guys The only thing I ordered was the ones it came with and then Dual Coil Cartomizer - 1.5 ohm, 1.8ml Mega XL - Clear...Figured for now that was it....Till I see what it is like and really what I need and see what you all would say before I wasted to much money XD...I also wanted to find a good Vanilla juice so only ordered 1 from there also...ohhh and I had to get a few drip tips and these well XD I really LIKED lol Clear Ribbon Drip Tip - 510/901/KR808d-1...Have to run be back soon to check in =D...Thanks again guys....Just need a good place on good juice and I will be set a while unless there are other things you think I should have on hand extra XD....oppppssss forgot 1 BIG question how many times can I refill the ones that come with this and these dual coil ones? before I have to rebuy new ones? Thank you guys =D

I am thinking from what I am reading from others I might need alot of Dual coils? On hand? Was thinking of getting the ones you can just fill also for it ..Did any of you try these? eGo-T MEGA Type A Cartridge (tank) 5-pack should I not try that route? Just worried I wont have enough on hand> I know already wont even have enough juice and not even sure as what I bought cause I didn't think untill I wrote on someones post earlier >.< feels so newbish

The tanks tend to leak a bit. I haven't had major spill issues but they still get as slimy as a little kid's nose. If a few come with your kit keep those ans see how you like them before ordering some.

That being said there are tanks like these that don't leak, at least from what I have heard from others. I don't have one but they were recommended to me if I am going the tank route. And the link was just an example of the types that have less (or no) leaking issues. There are several different models by several different vendors.

The ones you linked to are the ones with the leaking issues no matter what vendor you go to. Those look like the type that came with my eGo-t and seem to get slimy.

For cartos I have been liking these ones from CCV. The Resurrestors. Ends up being $1.43.3 each and you get a drip tip and syringe with each order. They aren't dual coil but I think they have the special pricing on the 15 packs of dual coils as well. These buggers are bugger than a normal carto so hold a bit more juice.

I use the SmokTech Mega 1.5 DC and find there's very little refilling of the cartos because they take sooo much juice. If I didn't have these I'd prolly have bought a tank already but at this point am just researching tanks. The first fill on these tanks is very, very important and the cartos last me about 2-3 weeks BUT understand you may burn a few out when you first start vaping. Note I have the SmokTech and NOT the SmokTek. Make absolute sure you have some condoms on hand (rubber tips from single coil cartos) as they make it very simple to fill cartos. Also are handy if you want to put aside a carto because and use another one with a different flavor it keeps them from drying out. A must have IMHO.

You would also need the Tank attys for the tank carts. I have them & no leaks. Don't worry about the oversized cone for now, you can try everthing & get it next order if you stay w/ cartos.

mooreted nailed it. 510 fits a 510. The numbers mean the type of battery threading.
