Informal Poll: what vg level do you use in RTAs?

After seeing that the HIGO is struggling with higher than 70vg juice, Focusecig asked me what vg levels people are using in their RTAs? Honestly, I'm not sure. I can't seem to handle higher than 70vg myself without heavy chest/congestion/asthma.

I'm hoping a lot of people will answer so I can give a good representation. Your answer helps manufacturers design attys that will work for you . Feedback is important for helping you, the customer, get vaping equipment that you enjoy using.

If you use higher than 70vg, could you also list the RTAs you use it in?

I use mostly 50-70vg. I'm not sure what the vg level is on Charlie Noble or The Real is. I have one juice I use a lot that's only 35vg (NT Virus). I can't think of any RTAs I've used that I found problematic wicking any of the juice I use.

I use 60-80% PG juices, regardless of the atomizer, RTA or RDA. At 50% VG or more, I start having bad reaction to the juice.

70 to 80vg. No problem in Serpent, Lemo 2, Aqua V2 (slight mod to juice flow holes), Tilemahos v2, Rose v2, MT, Aromamizer, or GEM.

I have some juice that's around 85% VG DIY - I primarily use KFv4, Prometey v2/3, Spheroid v2/3, Ataman v2 and Kabuki tanks with Nautilus coils and I don't have any issues with wicking - then again - I'm always inside so not out in the elements.

I'm anywhere between 50:50 and 70:30 VG these days. In fact 60:40 VG is probably my sweet spot on most of my RTAs. I havent really had any problems with 80:20 VG but I like fruit flavours and at high VG, some of them separate which is bad.

I'm old school and have almost always vaped 80pg/20vg. Sometimes, I order juice that's 40vg for the flavor. Much more than that and I start to feel heaviness in the chest after a day or two.

I'm able to maintain 98% oxygen saturation measured with a pulse oximeter while riding my stationary bike 30 minutes a day, so it's not a lung ailment. It's just the way I react to heavy VG. It seems to coat the lungs in my case.

100% PG seems to irritate my lungs. Adding 20 to 30 percent VG rounds out the mildness in the vape.

95% of my Liquids are 70vg/30pg (one is an 80/20). Using them in Erl Ks, Bellus(s), Russian 3.0, STMs, and now a Tengu with zero Issues (in Devices or me personally/health-wise) and am quite satisfied. the "perfect blend" for Me anyways.
Used to vape only 50/50 on my old-school Devices (Vape-Life Devices after the initial Blu and Smoke-Shop Ego/CE4 Kits) as they seemed to absolutely need that much PG in order to be Flavorful (IMO). I then found that as my Armory of APVs & RTAs progressed and advanced, the 50/50 just wasn't performing or "doing the Deal" like they did on the old-school stuff. My current Armory of Devices (mostly TC & Ti) comes alive and thrives with 70/30. Again,,, IMO.

Don't even want to get started on that Smoke-Shop 95-97% vg Sewer-Swill Stuff....
Seems like only a distant Nightmare now,,,

Oopsie, I digress. Sorry Roxy. 70vg-30pg. Yeppers. That's my Ticket with no issues. No cough or congestion trouble unless there is a Cold Bug or other Respiratory Malady present or soon to manifest.

I think we should standardize the way we say our percentages and always say the PG% first, such as, I vape 50/50 the second number is always VG can we put that in the "book"? its kinda there but not

The PG could go up but that is dependent on the flavoring.
If it were up to me... I would rid the PG... Never does my body good.
