leslie,
welcome to the boards. oh you lucky person! to have a walk in store. im in norcal and we have a smoke shop that only sells ejuice (a buck a ml)
in hind site, i should have gone with a boxmod first. just me. batteries die, and then its a bummer. the boxes give you some options on batteries (cost wise)
glad to hear your almost off the analogs. i smoked for 35 years, and quit on my first day of recieving my ego.

I so wish there was a supplier near me!! The only thing I can find are those cheap-o yucky tasting nic filled carts in over priced starter kits that you have to buy everything else from their web site afterwards at hugely inflated prices!! In the middle of a hunt for the perfect vape and I agree, so many web sites its overwhelming. Thought I found a solution a bit ago but the shipping cost stopped me dead in my tracks. Still have the page open. May bite the bullet and place the order if I can't find anything else. Ugh!! This already has cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars over the course of a few months and I'm still not satisfied. I'm also still smoking analogs due to this. I'm so frustrated. I used to live in California. The land where everything you want is nearby. Then I wanted to move to the mountains and while I enjoy the peace and quiet I feel like I've moved to the moon when I want to buy something other than bread or milk....

I just saw in the supplier section that I have a local store.. Yeah for instant gratification! I don't a high enough post count to post in the supplier subsection though, so will have to call up the store to ask if they carry what I am looking for. It will be great to actually hold the product in my hand before buying though.

I feel ya. I just found out about a local supplier here in NY. He's about to open a retail location and I've done a local pick up at his office already and it really is great. Now i don't feel like i have to order 50-60 bucks in merch just to warrant paying shipping. lol

Haven't smoked any analogs today at all and don't feel the need to!

Just ordered a juice sampler pack and a free sampler from Vermillion River Premium E-Juice ~ I ordered the following flavors:

Flavor 1: Kentucky Cherrywood
Flavor 2: Kentucky Maplewood
Flavor 3: Kentucky Premium Blend
Flavor 4: Fresh Mint
Flavor 5: Kentucky Vanilla Blend
Flavor 6: French Vanilla
Free Sampler Flavor: Fruit Stripe Illusion

Question:

Right now I am using RY4 juice in the pre-filled cartomizers I got. I do have 2 blank carts so I'll use those for the flavored juice, but what if I hate the flavor? Is there anyway to 'clean' the cartomizers so I can use one cart for different flavors?

Also ~ If you have multiple carts filled how do you track which flavor is which?

Congrats! That's great!

There are several suggestions on this forum about cleaning cartomizers. I personally never did, because by the time I found out you could refill them I already had a huge pile of them .

I used to write the flavor right on the carto with a sharpie. It wears of after a day or so, but, it was easy. I tried putting tape over the name to keep it from coming off, but the little plastic covers that fit over the end of the carto's kept pulling the tape off :glare:.

I've moved on to direct dripping into an atomizer now and I've found a place to order several different colors so I can tell them apart. Can't wait to get them! :2cool:

Good Luck!

There are so many different flavors, and setups out there, you're bound to find something you like!

I use a paint marker which you can get at any craft store. they are more durable than sharpies and will write on practically anything.

as for the auto batteries one thing you need to be warned about is overfilling the carto, if it drips out the hole it can gum up your battery and wreck it so don't over-saturate when refilling. I've done that and had to trash the battery, That's one of the benefits of manuals, no fear of the juice screwing up the sensor.

It feels great when you don't feel the urge to burn dried leaves anymore. I've been vaping for almost a month now, and it's everything I wanted smoking to be. I can get all the flavor I want without the smoke, and the smell, and all the bad crap that goes along with it. I've forgotten what an analog tastes like, and I don't really want to remember, either.

Best of luck to you!

Jason at eCig City showed me how to fill the cartomizer and to be extra careful since I do have an automatic. That was one of the great things about being able to shop at an actual store. He was so helpful and showed me exactly what to do!
